This video just suddenly showed up in my recommendations. I double-checked that I have never watched a single video of yours (or any other train content to be fair). That is weird but I'm not complaining. Great video.
Great finds! I have a few MSOS MPC steamers too, very nostalgic for me. Check the circuit board in the tender to make sure it's not touching the tender frame. Lionel used foam with adhesive to hold the board in place. Over time it deteriorates and will allow the board to short out on the metal frame. Clean off the residue from the old adhesive and use double stick foam tape to re-attach the board.
I love the MPC era train. I remember those as a kid. I couldn’t afford one. Now I might try to track one down after watching your video. Thanks for sharing.
Love the video. Great seeing a Millhouse Studio Turntable. Congratulations you will LOVE it! One thing in this video made me really laugh and I just have to bring it to your attention. Just before the 4 minute mark you have a link show up in the upper right corner of the video. You just might want to correct the spelling. LOL I believe it is suppose to be "order" but displays "oder" . Boy that sure stinks. LOL Keep up the great work!
I have the same JLC #1650 Allegheny but I got a full Legacy upgrade for it - so glad I did. The newer Legacy models are not prototypically correct whereas back in 2006, Lionel boasted of the then new JLC Allegheny as being prototypically correct with its overfire jets on the firebox. They should have made the Legacy model with numbers 1645 and up and the entire discrepancy would have been resolved. The Legacy model has white walls on the drivers and the JLC model has a brushed steel finish, both of which look fine.
Great video on your York experience, Sid. Got a hold on some really cool stuff! The C&O Allegheny has a really powerful presence, and the whistle sound is awesome! The Alton MPC passenger consist looks great, too, although really overpowered by the Allegheny. All in all, glad you had a great time at York with friends and meeting fans. Cheers!
The Chicago & Alton is MPC circa '81 -'82(?). My Dad got it for us new back then the MSOS still works to this day. Also all my MPC MSOS engines still work.
Cool!! I said 1970 something 😅😅. Like I said not an MPC expert, but like a lot of the model train community I find the models from this era interesting and well made for the most part.
Great finds there Sid! And you're lucky, your "Mighty Sound Of Steam" still works! I picked up an "MSOS" Atlantic Coast Line Hudson several months ago and when I shot the power to it I got the "Mighty Sound Of Agony!" It let out a blood-curdling scream! 😳 I almost ran out of the room! Anyway, I yanked the old unit and installed a Williams whistle and bell unit. Sounds fine and that's all I need. Ever see one of those C&O Alleghenys up close? There's one in the B&O Museum in Baltimore. The size of the thing will take your breath away! Photographs just don't do it justice, but that Lionel model comes pretty close.
I predict that sometime soon, if they have any smarts, York will have a RUclips booth set up where all you guys can be for the show, probably with a time schedule for each to meet folks and chat. The York You Tube Train Mafia headquarters!!
Man what an awsome video- all great trains- I have the JLC ALLEGHENEY as well - it - like the 1.26 million pound Prototype has some mega power!!!- and looks great as well - and I think coal cars are neat- I have a bit of the die cast K lines B and O and C and O and mth Plastic C and O coal Hoppers- look great behind my lionel EM 1 as well - hoping to get the CLass A vision line- I gather you may have that on order as well --
Love that Alton set. Those MPC sets were so unique and had those great paint jobs. Great find!
Thanks Sean

Very nice choices of locomotives there man...Hope your collection continues to grow.
New additions look great Sid! The Alton Limited on my list. Love the two tone red colors on it.
The whistles on big tmcc engines like the Allegheny are not prototypical but they are some of the best sounding whistles ever 🔥
I just picked up a Alton Engine like that and it works too!
Nice ROW hopper Sid. Have you seen my ROW tribute yet?
I must have missed a really good show recently. Hope to see you guys this October

Great video. I love the long coal trains. So how many coal cars do you have?
Too many 😆
I’ve been looking for a Tmcc challenger an BigBoy from around 1999 or 2000 catalog

Sid, How much do you charge to look at a possible signal issue for a lion master 2.0 big boy ?
If you were to choose your favourite locomotive what would it be and why?
There are too many to choose from 😉
I managed to score a 671RR
What scale are these
All I see are toy trains but no real model trains !!!!
