Terminator 2: Judgement Day is one of my absolutely favourite movies. Watching Schwarzenegger make a thumbs up while being lowered into the molten still is an epic moment. 👍🔥😢

Totally agree. I took my fantasy overboard with T2 I was like 6-8 years old and would watch it over and over. Even after all the times I’ve seen the films I can’t help but watch it if it happens to be on the tubervision.
I refuse to acknowledge any Terminator film after Judgement Day.

Personally I thought Genisys was pretty good and the fight between Pops and John Connor was a really great fight since it showed how effective Pops can be against the better terminator with using the stuff around him like that laser claw thing and his meg nit gloves while in the middle of the fight showed how John Connor is more powerful than the old terminator and I like how even when Pops got his arm sliced off and close to death he didn't even flinch. And I believe that what Galvatron said in transformers 4 was right if you have no soal you have no fear which is something Pops and all terminators do not have.

I used to babysit a little boy back in 1992-1993, he was 2. His favorite movie was Terminator 2. I’ve seen it probably 150 times, no exaggeration. Wherever you are now kid, it was fun and I hope you are happy, but oh my gosh I cannot watch that movie. Edit: yes his parents were okay with this movie choice. At least I didn’t have to watch Barney.

I liked all the Terminator films, some less than others ( Genesys ). But they will NEVER catch the quality and sheer perfection that is T2.

Agreed. The Terminator is the father of T2, so it has to be appreciated before you can even appreciate T2. Plus it's just a better original movie, being that James Cameron even says T2 is basically the same story as T1 it just switches the characters around and T2 is the like the first Terminator minus the romantic love story and less violence and less of a horror feel, but very cool in it's own right. Just different than the first one and I think the first one is cooler, plus its made in the 80's when a lot of 80's movies felt better and had a future vibe to them for just being made in the 80's.
Yeah you can't beat that soundtrack, the sad parts felt sad, the action felt intense and the horror worked perfectly. It had the perfect blend of elements. I love T2 but the first will always be my go-to.
Christian Bale played a decent John Connor but to me he will always be the American Psycho.

On the DVD for his movie Jingle All The Way, it has biographies for each actor and his doesn’t mention The Terminator which is probably his most famous role

Arnold was synchronised by Thomas Danneberg in almost every movie. That is why in the original voice of Arnold sounds strange to me as german audience. Danneberg was also the main voice actor for Sylvester Stallone, John Travolta, Terence Hill, Dan Aykroyd, Rutger Hauer, John Cleese, Nick Nolte and Billy Dee Williams. He recently left the voice acting due to health problems because of his age.

I don’t have nightmares, but the one thing that makes me jolt EVERYTIME is the T-800 foot cracking through the skull at the beginning of T2.
I’ve seen the movie countless times, but for some reason can never get the expecting timing of the crack right.

Robin Williams Terminator would have been funny to see
Feral Nights Gaming No that would've been silly. Although I actually would've loved to see him in the role of Miles Dyson in T2. Not that I would rather Miles have been played by a white guy. Joe Morton was great. Its really just a personality thing. Race has nothing to do with it.
Yeah, but wouldn't have been as cool, Robin would've defenitly done a good job, but it wouldn't have been as good as the original one.
Now I want Chevy Chase and Julia Louis-Dreyfus to make a spoof of the original Terminator. I’m of course imagining Chase playing the Terminator in the vein of Pierce Hawthorne, and Julia playing Sarah Connor as something in between Old Christine and Selina Meyer 😂😂😂

I really wish they hadn't abandoned ship on the Salvation timeline. My favorite parts of the first two movies were the scenes depicting the future war and I really want that movie, done well. Salvation didn't achieve it, but it at least tried. I think a sequel could have gotten there.

I actually think Henriksen could have done it in a way that could have made the Terminator more of a sci-fi horror, more than what it is now.

That's two bad that Genesys didn't hold. It wasn't the best movie, but i really like the story they were trying to tell, and how it was going to add a new pitch to the downfalls of time travel and how everything can change. I also liked how the T-800 got a weird upgrade haha
