I have been exploring wood/bamboo textures in my home as well. Right now, I have a white brick backsplash in my kitchen that matches my fireplace. It’s not subway tile, it’s true white brick. We recently had a small plumbing issue and needed some wood floor replaced. I came home from work and the contractor had it laying against my counter and it sparked an interest….Legit, looked nice in my kitchen! I asked him to cut me some panels that fit my backsplash and I just command stripped them up to feel it out with ZERO commitment🤣. FR feeling this vibe!! My Kitchen is antique white cabinets with black granite counter tops and the brick backsplash. Seriously considering transitioning to a wood backsplash. I’m giving myself a month or two with it makeshift to feel it out🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️. My Husband is a Hard Yes!🤣🤣
