Funny... you treated Harold like a fictional character the whole movie... I treated him like a real person the whole time... a real person that some how has his life decided by a random writer that is unaware of him

This was literally the ONLY Will Ferrell film I’ve ever liked. I don’t find him funny, so his “funny” movies I always found to be hella cringe. But this one? Cried in the theaters (I was dragged by a friend and her mom) and it remains one of my favorite movies to this day.

Went into this vid expecting a casual refresh of this movie since I’d already seen it (15 years ago) but had to stop halfway through because I realized I do NOT remember where the story goes. Thanks for reminding me of a forgotten gem I now get to relive.

i saw this movie years ago, and i remembered that Harold read through the draft where he dies, and thinks it's so good that he accepts his death. But the problem with that is that i can't imagine that draft being anywhere near that good to justify me giving my life up
