Thank you so much for this video. I was trying to decide which plan to get but was very curious how many ads they'd put on the movies and you were the only review I could find this informative. Great video 👌
It would be better if they ads in the movie before it starts like on peacock and hulu
Why should it affect movies? And we shouldn't have any ads at all. We need to petition
With all the money Disney makes in other areas, leaving Disney Plus Ad free would not hurt them 1 bit lol.
They have a petition
While I hate ads too, just don't get their service - or get a tier with no ads. Not that hard.
@@moviereedviews I've been with Disney plus with no ads since launch day
@@MarvelFan1995 Then you might have the normal subscription other than that I don't know what to say
Does no one realize that before streaming existed that ads were like all over the place in cable television? Ads were revenue for company’s that produced the ads, not Disney or Fox or ABC. Disney only gets a percentage of that stuff. Now why Disney made it so expensive is beyond me, but for the amount of stuff they got it’s worth it. Don’t understand why they won’t put any toon Disney stuff in it
Yeah I think a lot of people got spoiled when Netflix and Hulu first started and they didn't have ads. I know I did but I just pay the extra to avoid the ads. 😂
Maybe we are spoiled, but i remember that cable television was free. If the ad version were free, even if it had five or more ads for movie, no one would say a thing. The fact that i have to pay AND watch unskippable ads is ridicolous. And 120$+ to have the ads-free version is not worth it.
Curious on the ad situation for the shows but still very informative video. Thanks a bunch Mr Fenix! (I saw you had a Gears of War poster and you kinda look like Marcus lol)
Thank you! Yes, Im a Big Gears Fan. I love the compliment lol.
Don't have these options yet since I live in Canada and the ad tier thing isn't available yet outside the US, but thanks for the informative video.
Also Disney says they're raising the prices because their losing money on Disney+ which isn't schedule to make a profit until 2024, but lets be honest. Everyone knows Disney is the one company that can recuperate that lost money with methods outside of streaming like merchandise, movies, theme parks, live events, etc. If anything, they're Disney+ original shows can be argued to be a way to have the public gain a interest in newer characters and franchises which would boost their sales outside of the streaming network.
Neither do i bros but now it says 13.99 for the premium i been on the basic plan of Netflix for years in im cancelling because they've raising the basic for the first time which is 11 don't forget the taxes which would be 13 😂
Captain America: Civil War has no ads
I should subscribe to RUclips premium. I got an ad, while watching your video, about ads 😂
It's not bad for movies, usually there's only 1 ad at the beginning. Series however, 3+ ads per episode. It's insane. The quality of stream though is SOOO much better compared to HBO and Netflix and Hulu. They compress way too much. Movies and series on Disney are super crisp. I was actually quite surprised by this.
I can say I haven't ever noticed a quality difference. Do you pay for 4k on Netflix and Max? They have all looked the same, granted I had 4k content on all of them.
@@BigCVlogsNah just regular full hd.
Great job with this video. Exactly what I was looking for and needed to know. I'm getting the Hulu Disney bundle with ads. I see no problem with getting ads unlike most ppl. The complaining is funny to me. I have to get caught up on so many shows I missed & get new ones starting up
yep, in the past when we watched tv it did have ads😂
anyway first plan looks like "you gonna pay us to see the ads, otherwise pay more and we will unblock full access" it's like running into a crowd of bandits, they will pull money out of you anyway
Good luck trying to watch Disney plus basic on Roku devices.
I wouldn't be surprised if this forces a lot of people to cancel.
The whole reason they switched from the ad free plan to the ad supported plan was to save money, but Disney Plus wants people to spend more money.
Not what people want.
My GF has a Roku and its been working fine.
If these streaming services charged a smaller price, would that not entice more people to sign up? I am sure that THEY have been thinking about this idea and have went about it in every possible way.
I hate ads. Honestly if I wanted ads, I would use regular tv (DirecTV, Dish). But are Ads really that bad on Hulu and Disney Plus?
I don't think these are too bad. It may not seem like a big difference in price, but I know years ago for me, $5 savings was a big difference lol.
@@BigCVlogs But I want to combine Hulu (Ad free), Disney Plus (ad free), and ESPN in the bundle. But I can't on Hulu, my subscription for hulu and Disney plus is billed through Roku.
I got their last dis/Hulu/espn bundle and cancelled it that same month because I didn’t realize the Hulu sub had ads. So yeah, if you haven’t had to watch streaming ads (Sans YT) it’s pretty unbearable. For me at least.
Glad I got an ad free version
Pick a tv show I want to see how many ads are in a tv show
I thought I did a TV show. Maybe I forgot lol.
@@BigCVlogs its ok
This is really sad for Disney+
Thanks 👍 ads sucks ✌️
Can you do a review of Netflix with ads? Thanks!
Honestly, I made one last month when it came out lol. ~ ruclips.net/video/ZK2mOTpxpkI/видео.html
I don’t care too much ab the ads I’m used to it from yt but to take away downloads is crazy
RUclips is free
Disney plus with ads is now 1.99 for 3 months for a limited time now
i think ill stick with Disney plus premium because premium is better, cause it has no ad interuptions and download content.
Agreed
Thanks for this super helpful video 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Hi guys, I have one problem about Disney+ some of my movies and titles don’t sync across devices. For example, I watch it movie on my iPad and then I don’t see it in. Continue watching list on Apple TV Disney+ app. and I I can find this movie sometimes. I know this exist because I can continue watching on my iPad, but it like this never exist on Apple TV library Disney+. I have one account one region . But sometimes I use VPN region the same when I outside/ it’s Kimi can be cause VPN?
I'm getting it from my brother at the moment the ad free version But if it's only 1 minute per ad. That's not bad
The ads didn't seem to long in my opinion.
@@BigCVlogs thanks
Why not just make a 1-2 minute ad before your show/movie and after
I think because people would close out on the after movie one. So they place them throughout to get paid.
Is there Disney originals in the Disney+ basic with ads?
It’s basically just like a RUclips ad
Can you update this video? I want to see if anything changed
Did you try and use an ad blocker to see if it would remove the ads on that website?
I have not tried this. That is a great idea but I know a lot of websites started blocking the sites if an ad blocker was running.
@@BigCVlogs Well, your welcome to join ours once we get the funding and that the site is up and running! :)
Ads are pure cancer of society
You don't want to put basic with ads, put premium without without ads.
You can get ad free
What about a 30 min tv show?
wen dos it come to canada ad's
I am not sure honestly.
Thank you. No disney for me!
Not a fan myself lol.
It's ironic that all the Disney now adds are 30 secs overall no matter what you watch, an the Disney plus adds are basically double that.
Disney now is accessible to all an even has a free section too lol.
I have cable an bot apps currently.
Disney plus gets exclusives while Disney now always gets all the hit shows on Disney Channel before they go to Disney plus. Like weeks before.
Not only that. Now, Disney plus originals like mysterious Benedict society, which is already on the disney now app and others coming soon like monsters at work an chip an Dale Park life as well, will all have shorter add breaks on Disney now then on Disney plus app.
Like when did a free app become superior to a paid version? Lol 😆.
Granted it helps if you have cable so you can unlock all content on Disney now but the free section does have alot in it an gets updated regularly. And it usually has the current shows running on the actual channel as part of the free section.
So if their running chip an Dale Park life for example, you'll get so many episodes available of that throughout the season on the app in the free section as the season continues. Basically just check it once or twice a week an you'll be able to stay current.
For free. With shorter adds.
Wait the mysterious Benedict is on Disney now but they took it off of disney+ I find that odd
@Kevdog1920 the comment was 8 months ago lol 😆
Great video!
Can I fast forward through the ads?
No, you sadly cannot. It will force the ads when fast forwarding.
Thanks for the quick response.@@BigCVlogs
so you let your wife and daughter watch ads?!?!?!?! I can't even conceive of a more hostile living condition. somebody call CPS on the double!
😂😂😂😂 No, we have the ad free version from Verizon for free. I just got this to see what it was like.
Ok you only show movies
What about tv series? Thats why im watching
Thx
Ads*
wtf? Commercials? 😒😒😒
It’s very similar to Hulu’s which makes sense.
It sucks cuz we didn’t have ads before and now we have to pay to not have them
@@tiktokcompilations797 They only came out with an ad-supported tier because people would start complaining that they raised their price to $3 more. They have a lot of subscribers because it’s cheap. Disney has a lot of money and their streaming service isn’t their main source of income so it shouldn’t cost as much as Netflix.
Yeah, but...
At least with Hulu, the ad supported plan works on Roku TVs.
@@REAL-UNKNOWN-SHINOBI Wait, Disney Plus ad-supported plan doesn’t work on Roku TV?
@@lollipopcorndog yep. Disney plus is being greedy once again
The future is garbage
Maybe we should all go back to the future!
Welp… bye bye Disney plus.
