Hi Lance, Enjoying these projects, Replace the spring under the main gearlever as these weaken and allow the lever to lift out of the selector when changing gear. Regards from a cold & frosty England. George.
I have a MF20 Industrial which is supposed to be just like the MF 135. The MF20 is a version that has a bucket and roll cage. Hopefully it goes as smoothly as your repair. Thanks for the video.
Hi Lance. Glad you're on this one as it's a bit fiddly. Should there be a standard gasket where the cork one was or just a m/c fit? Doing mine in the spring so paying close attention. Thanks.
@@BundyBearsShed The arms were slightly loose. I've tighted them. But I also tighted the second nut which is above the ball bearings on the top column. But now it's too tight to turn the wheel. What can I do?
In the auto plant I work at we call that master spline as you referred to it as a "block". So if there are three of them we call it a 3 block pitman for example.
Hi mate you mentioned a multi power is that a mf 135 aswell? Just curious my grandads mf 135 with the straight front axle has a multi power lever just under the steering on the dash never new that they where different or actually how it works or what it actually did. Great videos learning a lot
Good evening, How do you re assemble steering box on gear box. I have tried and have trouble shifting from 1 -3. As well as shifting from H to L. Please help 🙂
5:11 Ball bearings sitting in the bottom of the case cover. That's not a good thing. Assuming they belong in the recirculating ball assembly... Hope you saw that before they go walk about. 7:28 there may be a few more sitting in the oil. Can't tell for sure, could be globs of grease.

Hi Lance. Can you please tell me if I need to remove the steering box to get the gear shift levers out?
Knock the pin out on the ball and the levers will come.

G day Laurence, Yes paper or a loctite product.
What to do if I am having excess of free play in steering. I've tightened the second nut you removed from the top column.
Are the arms loose on the pitman shafts where the big nut is or do you have worn tie rod ends?

@@BundyBearsShed i picked up a 135 industrial and it started freewheeling. I'm not sure what I'm getting into by pulling it apart lol
