I bought a lyric,. fantastic driving ,.was looking forward to buy the IQ . but after with all the problems that I am going through with the lyric . no way jose .they should have build quality., not quantity.

Quantity???? 😂 Cadillac has only delivered about 3,500 Lyriqs TOTAL from first release in May 2022 to the end of Q3 2023 - about 20 months. This is about one month’s production of most luxury vehicles and maybe a week of Tesla MYs.
In December of 2022 my dealer had about 50 orders. To date he has had about 15 delivered to him. Several were rejected by people who bought other makes in the interim because they weren’t willing to wait, not knowing when they might be delivered. Those cars were offered to people still on the list with orders that were slightly different (different trim, color, etc) but with a “market adjustment” that GM allows dealers to do when the person who ordered the car backs out.

I am STILL WAITING for my Cadillac Lyriq AWD. It’s built and it’s being shipped here, but there are no regular updates or tracking.
I will go visit Cadillac today to check for it.
A number of corporations are backing away from EV production, but they aren’t saying why.
AMERICA STARTED TRADE WARS WITH CHINA AND RUSSIA.
China is doing well with EV right now.
Russia is buying Chinese cars.
America made pro-EV laws but then backed itself into a corner with the constant war.
