Hello Carey...during one part of my professional career, I had the opportunity to people watch...I did this for almost 15 years, for usually 6-8 hours per day....I noticed and recognized it to be true for me too, that men are most quickly attracted to women who look like their mother's..and as you said, this is not always the case. I find today, that at least for me, that has changed though, now at 73 I am attracted to women who have obviously either taken care of themselves or were gifted with great genes.
@@CoffeewithCareyafter listening and commenting on this, I believe you were talking about a study, and you mentioned this from the study....I began surmising this about 1985 and was pretty sure of it by '95...while I was a sound technician at Caesars Palace in Vegas, I interacted with all the musicians and talent constantly, eyes and ears open.....thanks
I only had two friends in life and they're both dead. My "Friend Zone" is permanently closed. You pronounced "unrequited" correctly. Great video as usual Carey. 👍👍☕☕
Be very careful how you approach your work friend. If you work with a man or woman and have not been out together socially, ask them if they would like to go out after work or on a weekend, say you would like to get to know them better out of the office. If they are not interested, you know they want to keep a professional friendship. No need to disclose you have romantic feelings and potentially make the office dynamic awkward.
There is no escape from the friend zone. Too many men think they can change her mind but it's just not happening.
It’s not about changing someone’s mind. It’s about being clear on your own desires and expectations and communicating those.

Thanks for the confirmation. I think it may be time for you to get out and about a bit and make a friend. What do you think?
