I really love Diego and Lila! It was interesting bc I didn’t do a rewatch of S1 and 2 so I didn’t remember much about them. But I really grew to love Diego and Lila more especially with Diego stepping up to be a father. And Lila tricking him was hilarious but so mean 😆
Lets be real here Diego is more likely to die permanently out of the Hargreaves he's so wholesome caring and family oriented. Especially next season with them not having their powers to protect themselves. Plus Diego and Lila having a baby the dad dying is such a trope 😪😥

And when diego came back and escaped from sparrow academy, the moment the settle down in the room he says "at least the nuthouse in Texas had jello" and then he goes "and lila". David's face🥺 Diego and lila will always have a special place in my heart. And damn David and ritu play it so great and has made it unforgettable.
I do not have the words to explain how much I love them (and this video!!). They really were my favourite part of season 3, and I hope we continue to get more and more of them as the show goes on. 🥺 I would throw myself off of a cliff to ensure their happiness, no hesitation.
If they are still together, the goodbye will be so powerful and impacted to the audience. Goodbye to their kids and to each other will be the best scene of all. The writer just didn't see the opportunity to write a better ending.
