Understanding the Blue Spinel Story: The Blue Spinel is a gem that ended up being defective, in this case, without your arms! She used mechanical arms to disguise her defect. And besides not getting her arms, she was happy, the blue spinels are meant to be sad and used for shattered gems funerals. Because of this, the others knew of their defect and always tried to disguise in every way. But one day a new Agate came and found out, and as a punishment she asked the quartz to do good they wanted with her. Then they started to cut her hair, as if she were a doll. And angry spinel defended and fled and eventually found the pink Spinel and became her new best friend.
I know this is fan fiction but technically this doesn't make sense.. Spinel (the Canon one) left with the diamonds meaning she would have left blue Spinel. Overall apart from that and cutting hair part it's a good back story
Yeah but gems are given only so much light. Amethyst for example when she shapshifted into Jasper she could only do it for so long before she tired herself out. So blue spinel would be able to make hands but like amethyst she would tire herself and revert back to the way she was because hands would take away from her form.

Então elas começaram a cortar o cabelo dela, como se ela fosse uma boneca. E spinel com raiva se defendeu e fugiu e acabou encontrando a Spinel rosa e se tornando a nova melhor amiga dela.
