As everybody knows the head coach has to deal with players, recruiting, academics, assistant coaches, training and the list goes on. Juwan Howard has never done any of that so he's way over his head and the frustration for him shows slapping the Wisconsin coach, run in with the strength trainer. He just can't handle the situation. Give him and everyone around him some peace and tell him to move on or this will only get worse.

How many times have we seen former players trying to coach college basketball? Just because you can play doesnt mean you can coach especially college ball. Juwan Howard is a classic example of how schools over-estimate former players/alumni and under-estimate coaching. It takes an extremely special person to excel in both fields and Howard aint it.

Juwan Howard is perhaps my favorite Michigan player ever and I was even fine when he was hired because it was so late in the year when Beilein resigned. But he has demonstrated both a complete inability to build a roster and an inability to keep his cool in stressful situations. Then he coaches his hot shot son and doesn't require him to play defense. It is time for a change.
I thought kids would want to play for him. I thought the same about Ewing and Muillin. Obviously, I was wrong. Doesn't it logically make sense to want to be coached by players who were stars and HOFs since that's all they want to do is play in the NBA? Don't act like they are studying finance, engineering, math, etc. Stop it.
Im not too old to remember being laughed off this very podcast's comment section for suggesting Juwan Howard was a fraud when Goodman and co were saying he was Coach of the Year material.
As a Die-Hard Lifelong Michigan fan who has lived in the Southeast MI area for 40+ years UofM is waaaay too stuck on having "A Michigan Man" Coaching the football and hoops teams. It's why Juwan was hired over more qualified candidates
Without head coaching experience at a decent size school, all of these former NBA players fail. There’s way too much to manage as a head coach, especially at a high major college level.
Juwan Howard becoming Michigan BK dream that just isn’t going to fulfill itself. No point going thru all the reasons, just consider past performance, recent performance and projected performance, go ahead and put it on your chart. Is that the trend line you want for the future Michigan BK program? - there is your answer. Juwan Howard whatever he brought to Michigan as a coach isn’t enough to sustain his future if Michigan wants to BE MICHIGAN = a significant basketball force and championship focused. Do you think Juwan knows all this? That is the serious question.
A crappy nba team ran beilein out of town because they didn't like what he named his plays. That explains why this guy is doing a show now.

People are sick of all the UNC and Duke players. Get some Kentucky guys, hell some Kansas guys, enough of this. UNC was cheating for decades and handing out fake degrees.
