- Skipping some water & hitting up some deep powder in the powerlines on the Yamaha Sidewinder 300hp & 275hp Turbo Dynamics Tune and the Ski-Doo Freeride. Also installed a new Cold Air Intake. Testing it out for the first time. Joined by @XMArmy & @JimLander. Thanks for Watching, Cheers!
Your sidewinder sounds like the factory turbo skidoo, just with more exhaust noise. It’s crazy how the OE suppresses the flutter

They’re cool and all, but damn you can just tell that thing weighs a TON! Litterally. I rode the mountain sled last year and I was so worn out after an hour it was insane. And I ride 4-5 days a week in Utah and Wyoming. Going to have to stick to the 2 stroke turbos for now. Well and probably forever.
Heavy because they're durable. Made much stronger than the rest.
The extra 100+lbs is hard to overcome when it comes to handling!...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠

You should really get a finger throttle kit. It adds s much grip to your right hand, you won't ever change it back.
I stole the trigger throttle of my 750ccX2 Kawi, as my first finger throttlebon a sled! Worked great!..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠

Can you provide details about your set up? Tune, exhaust, clutch kit etc.. I'm interested hows the exhaust sound on long days out on the snow? Lastly how is it on fuel?

Yamaha was always my pick until last year I ordered a srx an it was February then I canceled my order what a joke loyalty don't matter I might buy ski doo now !
you dont wanna hitter full. my assault will do 40mph on the water and i can pull a full circle my 1200 skidoo iv had it doing 20mph on the water feels like your still on snow and its a big heavy 4 stroker with less track length than my assault.

What did you do to make your sidewinder wheelie so good
Rear transfer bar removed completely. Tighten up the front skid shock a few turns. Lengthen the limited strap to the last hole. Will do the job. The tapp clutches and 275-300hp tune helps a bit to.

no thanks - I'm good taking it nice and easy on my touring sled. I'm more about the scenery than the speed and risky riding.
