  • Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has changed drastically from the few initial trailers and teasers that we got of the game during its development. I decided to go back and watch these trailers to discuss and point out the significant changes I noticed from the trailers that got changed in the final release.

    You missed the Brink Terminal pier in the movestyle trailer, they cut out a GIANT section of the pier that looked awesome and would've made the map WAY bigger.

      I just rewatched again to see the pier difference. It did look bigger. That's pretty crazy. Thanks for pointing it out to me

    Beside vaulting, I just noticed another thing was removed is that you can't do double flips at 5:38
    And the closest thing we can do is pressing front flip trick 2 times, though it doesn't look as good as it shown in the trailer

      That's crazy good eye. I didn’t even realize the double flip. Good catch

    I think beta Brink terminal is better as the current one was a bit too green and also that fountain was a nice touch honestly. But hey if we ever get a sequel things can change.

      I really like how Beta Brink Terminal looked. It's funny seeing how much it looked like it was part of Versum Hill.
      You know, I lowkey hope there's a beta restoration mod. That would be super cool

      @@RisingSonic17 I can definitely see that being a mod. RUclips also asked If I enjoyed the video so hopefully this gets pushed to more eyes willing to make it happen because this was a great watch!

    So many cool concepts that I desperately hope come back in a sequel! Riding missiles like Dante in DMC3, the Soap shoes and more promenent parkour like vaulting and more tricks.
    And the Rush meter (which could be anything, but my idea would be a sort of secondary boost trick gauge to access more tricks that give you more points and are way more stylish, almost like a DMC devil trigger guage, but for doing stunts).
    Still love the final Bomb Rush Cyberfunk we got, even if it required basic patches later on, like a dancemat in the hideout and toilet/dancemat/taxi locations on the phone map that were patched in.
    If anything i really believe a sequel would probably be the best Jet Set-like game ever made if it manages to work in all the stuff that was cut, and make it work!
    EDIT: OH! And also adding multiplayer like modders did, along with modes like versus, graffiti and racing! All that and it works smoothly? Peak Jet Set Radio-like ever!🔥🔥🔥

    I remember reading about the RUSH meter somewhere a long while ago. It was either in a magazine, or somewhere deep on Team Repriles website (I dug around for info for this game a ton before it came out) if I rememebr correctly, it was designed to fill up as you comboed tricks together, and when it was full, you'd enter a flow state that gave you infinite boost for a set period of time to get a huge combo. If I had to guess, it was probably scrapped because telling a player they entered a flow state after they did a combo long enough to enter said flow state was counter productive. Besides, in the final game once you get a combo going long enough, you practically have infinite boost.

      That make sense. Would've been a little redundant to keep that mechanic

    SEGA really got the indirect when this dropped.
    Years of neglect, are finally coming to an end.
    Can't wait for the new JSR.

    Do you know if any modders are working on custom parks or maps for the game? I think it would be so cool to see even if small if we could get a flow of people making custom maps for the game. That along with the multiplayer mod would be endless unlimited fun 30 hours into the game although still fun especially with multiplayer i still crave more content haha.

      Custom maps are still a WIP. No word on it just yet

    1: I'm not sure the running animations are different from the initial trailers to the final game. Perhaps you can make a video showing them side-by-side?
    2: You didn't mention the "speed indicator" in the bottom right under the boost gauge.
    3: Doesn't the "beta" REP counter look way better than the final game!?! How is no one talking about this??

    • @RisingSonic17
      @RisingSonic17  7 месяцев назад

      1. The one in the trailer is much more aggressive and its like a sprint compared to the final where it's like a light jog
      2. I actually didn’t even realize that was supposed to be a speed indicator there.
      3. Yeah I think the Rep counter from the beta looks more visually appealing

  • @lirip4209

    I would have liked that aggressive sprint to remain in the final game, it looked incredible, but the game still looks cool despite everything

    • @RisingSonic17
      @RisingSonic17  7 месяцев назад

      I think it would've liked it to be the default run animations. Or maybe be added as a little sprint after jogging for a little bit
