I love you guys!! I live in Wisconsin and here- it is not required to have a cosmetology or esthetician license. I took a one day certification course recently and I learned a lot. I just started watching your guys’ videos. You inspire me so much and give such helpful advice. You do have to be licensed to do lash lifts here though.
I took a 2 day course (B.S course)...& I must say, I learned more from RUclips than the actual person who has been lashing for 8yrs!!!...I've learned so many techniques!!!...
I have my cosmetology license and they definitely didn’t teach us in depth about lashes. They only taught us clusters. Lol. Thankfully I didn’t go just to learn lashes. I thought I loved hair but didn’t turn out that way! Found my love for lashing and invested more in my education. Sucks though that states require that if you’re just looking to be a lash tech. They spend so much money on a license when they don’t even focus on lashes. Hopefully it changes soon!!!! Thank you for this very informative video!
So agreed. I am from Ukraine living in California. In Ukraine we have great cosmetology schools which offer any beauty courses you want yet if you want to be a lash artist only certification you need is lash certification. I mean what you need to be an esthetician for 🤷♀️
I couldn’t agree more with everything y’all touched in this video! I’m a licensed esthetician and have several friends who I’ve inspired to become lash artists & I couldn’t support them more!!!! I attended CILV here in Las Vegas. Grateful for my education but more learning has to be done. I’m so glad to have found you! I know the difference and when I went to school had no intention doing lashes but now that’s my desire. My goal turned into let me just get this license and then find a company to further my love for doing lashes now! You two are so funny! Love your passion and energy! If I don’t win the free class I pray to be able to afford it soon...
Yes 100% you can't judge or hate on someone not licensed because you don't know thier situation, thankfully im licensed in cali but I hope one day we can have a special license for just lashing so not everyone has to spend thousands of dollars to go to school just to do lashes
So I paid for a course on lashing, and I love it I've learned so much. I eventually want to go to cosmo school so that I'm legal. Are you saying I'll pay them a lot of money to learn nothing on lashing 😩
It depends on your school you can definitely ask what they teach on lashing but most seem to not teach anything unfortunately or you have to pay for outside education on it
What state do you live at? In Texas you can get licensed as a eyelash extensions specialist you clock in 320hrs. That way you don’t have to go to cosmo or esthetician school.
@@itsbrenda9944 No you can’t do lashes with just a certificate but the class I’m talking about is to get your license as a eyelash extensions specialist.
I like this video a lot and it helped me feel more comfortable with taking a class first before going to beauty school. I have definitely wasted money on schools trying to learn a completely different profession and regret it a lot.
This debate is always so interesting to me. In Maryland lashing isn’t regulated so anyone can do it. There should be a program specifically to become a licensed lash specialist/professional that doesn’t require you to be an Esthetician or cosmetologist! I would be so upset going to esthi school for them to not even go in depth about lash extensions.
We learned nothing about extensions in Esthetics school, except what they are. I took a one day class that I didn’t learn hardly anything from, and built my skill and watched a ton of RUclips after and recently finished a LivBay course. Our state requires licensing but not certification. What a journey it’s been
I can’t believe you guys understand, so real so real I just want do eye lashes and since my state doesn’t allow if you don’t have esthetician license. So now I am working on getting it . Just to be lash tech.
I'm in Texas and I'm certified but I'm on my way to getting my license. The argument here was how a EMT only needs 120 to 150 hours of training but to get a cosmetology license you have to complete 700 plus hours. Does not make sense but...
I'm from California and i truly hope this crazy requirements by state board to do lash extensions in a legitimate way change one day...I truly don't see the point of people having to spend thousands of dollars in cosmetology or Esthetician school when realistically they don't even teach anything on real lash extensions... 🤷🏻(at least not the beauty schools in my area)It makes no sense.. Anyway I do understand & feel for both sides on this topic... Wish everyone sucess and good luck in their Lashing Journey💕 Thank You Mike & Shauna for this video!💗
It’s about learning, it’s all about learning the basics…. Stop thinking you aren’t gonna have to learn yourself. If you don’t like it then don’t get into the industry
This video is on point! I got certified as a lash tech last year & starting next week, I will start esthetician program for the cost of $326 in florida. I've seen searching forever & finally, found a place that's known & accredited 🙏
@gina What school are you going to in Florida as I just moved here and I'm looking for a good school that's affordable and teach lashes extensively.. 😊
I am a student at Aveda in Texas for esthetician. You are correct about not having a lash class and it being from an outside business and being an extra fee.
I went to esthetician school in Texas. All we learned when it came to lashes was the cluster lashes, lash lifts and tints. It's been 4 years and i haven't renewed my license but there is a lash speciality course in my area but im going to have to pay another 3k😬😬😬 . I've been thinking of self teaching myself and doing lashes on the side but I want to do it right to avoid legal issues :/
Great video 👏 I agree with you, Shauna. Lashes should have their own specialty. I’m Canadian, and it is different based on each province (most can do whatever they want 😬). In New Brunswick and Nova Scotia we have to be licensed Aestheticians. I think lashes should have their own license. It is not covered near enough in the classroom, and severe damage can be caused if done improperly. I was grandfathered in before the cosmetology association got ahold of lashes, but it doesn’t make sense. They created separate courses for nails, makeup, and waxing, why not lashes? Hopefully the industry will change 🤞
Thank you guys so much I am takin my first lash class this Sunday and I’m not able to sleep I’m so passionate and I have my campus tour at aveda next week this was very inspirational
I literally just emailed them today about doing the lash course here! I don’t want to waste my time or money taking the aesthetician course and maybe spending a day training in lashes! All the states definitely need to change that
So glad I live in Canada! I have friends that went to cosmetology school paid 16k and were taught lashes in one day. Such a waste to have to take courses on top of schooling
At first I was super worried because I just finished a lash class and spent a bunch of money doing it and got a certification for it. BUT I am already a licensed cosmetologist. I went to a tech school while in high school I was so blessed to get that done and get licensed at the end of high school
I must live on the wrong side of CT bc I just graduated esthi school and we didn’t even touch on lashes 😭🥺 although I have my esthetics license I’m working on getting a dual license for skin and lashes so I’m highly considering going back to a state accredited school for lashing tho, lashing is super big in my area rn and just being certified isn’t gonna cut it 🤞🏼😗

You can also apprentice, which is what I did and mostly because it was more beneficial for me to work, build a clientele all while making money. It did take me twice as long to finish but was well worth it. It is also illegal to do services with any license while not operating in a licensed establishment.
I finished a master esthics course in Washington state at the end of October 2020. I moved back to my home town in Washington, in the pacific northwest right after I finished school. Because of covid testing was backed up . When finally was able to get testing dates scheduled the county I live in went back to phase 1 . My mother and my grandmother live in my home as well and they don't feel comfortable with me traveling out of town to testing facilities until number go down so I had to cancel my testing dates . I will reschedule as soon as things are safer ... I finished my course about a mouth and half sooner than everyone else who started the same time as me . I didn't miss much class . I studied hard . I got in and out quickly. I wanted to do lashes from day one . Its so hard to keep this info fresh in my mind . I currently lash from home . I do not charge . I take donations - I don't do services without donations but since I am still learning and I am not licensed through the state my clients make donations of about half of what they would usually pay . I would much rather be licensed and work under somebody but I need to generate income... any advice?

Im license lash technician in Texas (DFW) but I love to take your class. please make a mini class for Texas :) I think its good to learn from different teachers.
I'm so happy I found you guys!! 🥰 I'm in the beginning stages of becoming a licensed esthetician per state requirement as I live in Oregon. It is definitely annoying that they don't cover what you really need to know for lashes and you have to pay extra for other courses, I feel like this is the same issue I had when I got licensed as a nail tech, but that just made me hungry for more education lol Thank you for all that do and all that you share. I will be a complete newbie with not a drop of knowledge about lashes but I honestly can't wait to learn all the things 😊
I’m an esthetician in Texas they didn’t teach about lashing, but at that point I wasn’t interested til after I graduated. Of course I had to pay to get trained so that I didn’t main. If lashing was to be the only thing I wanted to do then I would have just gone to the lashing class instead.
Love your channel. This episode helped me understand the difference between certified and licensed. The class/training I'm taking states they only give certification of completion but are not "certified" as there is no "certifying body for eyelash extensions". Is that true?
That’s semi true- some states. I believe Texas is one of them, that has a lash specific license. But if you check with your state board that’s the safest bet!✨✨
Does some government entity come by annually like they do salons and make sure you’re keeping an SDS and storing bleach properly and labeling cleaning products etc etc and have everything in order?

So I am a little confused, I took a lash extension course because that’s what I want to do, but the lady who taught me didn’t tell me we needed to be licensed, we even asked and she told us that once we are certified (California) we can start right away. So is she not allowed to teach us if we are not licensed?
In Texas you can go to school just for lashes and get licensed which is exactly what I’m going for …but can you still lash in different states with the license
After watching this I feel so blessed that the school I'm going to JUST implemented Lash certification in their esthetics course. I'm new to this industry and at first I didn't get the hype on the new addition to the program and now I see it. Thank you
I originally got my lashes done by someone who wasn't certified or licensed which led me to have issues with my natural lashes but i love lash extensions, and i appreciate people who take the time to really learn the art of lash extensions and get certified to understand not all lash extensions can just be placed anywhere there truly is a right way to lash and i will only go to people who have invested their time and money into the lash field.
The school I’m signing up for has about like 3-5 Days set aside for lashes which is why o chose them. I want to be able to to know the skin and the sanitation’s and things like that. Plus I don’t want to have my clients asking me to do a quick brow wax or something like that to finish off the look and not be able to do it. Imagine how much more money some lash artist could make adding a $15-20 brow wax to even HALF of their clients. That’s why I feel like going all the way is worth it. Plus luckily my state (MD) doesn’t have any requirements for lash techs
Please read this… I’ve been through it…..In the US you have to be licensed…… You need papers. Usually when you go to a class or school they’re there to teach BASICS. Stop thinking that you aren’t gonna have to teach yourself. If you don’t like it then don’t get into the beauty industry. I went to cosmetology school and paid $20,000.00 and we were told this is basically to teach us basics and to get out license. You have to take continued education every 2 years anyways. To keep your license
hey Canada, its me, ya boy. I am in Canada and want to do a lash course, but my town is small and one place charges 2k and its a 4 day course, it seems so short for me. how long should a good course be?
I went to esthetician school only payed $800 community college finish in March 2020. They payed for a training for lashes However I took volume with livbay and they were worth every penny. I just don’t like when people want to had out certificates and don’t mention you need a license . And most girls didn’t want to do lashes after they saw how hard it is in school .
Personally just coming from working in a shop where most women are only licensed in lashes. & from what I’ve seen in my area. Esti’s are cleaner & I only say this because it was beat into our heads on sanitation. Day after day. Routine is huge & will stick with you forever. That’s the only reason I say people should go to school because I think cleanliness is huge. I’ve seen some shady stuff for ladies with certificates & ONLY Lash licensed ladies. J/S. But again school doesn’t teach much on lashes. No volume training, just the basics. So I appreciate my certifications. So yea I can see both ways.
I have a question, okay I’m a beginner lash tech and I’ve took an course and got certified but I’m lost on how to find the rules of the state board in Alabama to getting my license and I’m confused on where is best for me to start ?💗
It's sad but its just the way it is. Just about every state has the licensing requirement to do lashes and treatments. I think they look at it as a way to make money but there is a safety component to it too. I was a makeup artist for 15 years, my state changed the licensing requirements and so I had a choice get my esti license or move on. So I paid the 5k, took the time and graduated and got my esti license. They mentioned lash extensions in school but did not teach them so I just paid another 650.00 to take a certification course in May with a licensed esti teacher who is an amazing lash artist and I am super excited! As my teachers have taught me the state board does not care about how many certifications you have, if you get caught or hurt someone you're getting trouble. Invest in the license and then you don't ever have to worry..because yes people will report you because they spent the money and put the hours in for that license.
In our state, we have to be licensed in esthe. or cosmo. in order to legally lash, but we can get lash certified as long as we are students in either. We can "practice" on family but can't legally charge anyone until we have our license. Now that we are in Covid crisis, our state boards are backed up by 3-4 months, so people have to get on a waitlist just to get their license. So here's a question, when you teach in Oregon, would you still teach someone who is still in school, waiting for their boards & have a certification, or those that are license holders only?
Connecticut schools have now included a license just for lashes - 50 course hours. I wish all states would specially NY. How do you guys work with the state?
Im from Indiana. So i paid 900 for an 8hr lash class for a certificate. They didn't teach much! But I am that single mom of 3 kids! I want to go get my esthetician license. I wanna become a lash instructor. I also want to do microblading. But I have no clue where to start?!?
Getting your license is definitely set one to making it official! Most schools don't cover lashes in detail like we do, so check out more of our vids or if you want a forever lash mentor to assist you all through your lash journey you can sign up for a physical or virtual class at livbaylashclass.com
Do you two have any advice on new lash artist that are trying to get more hands on practice and working for other business to get more practice to eventually work on their own what are the do’s and don’t !?!?
Hello, hopefully this isn’t a dumb question but is it possible to take cosmetology classes online? Or everything has to be in person? I live in the middle of nowhere & the closest beauty school to me is an hour away
And most will have to have an Instructors License. A certification adds to an existing profession. Esthetics is not a lash course and that's why a class in lash Extensions is additional. Minnesota has a 38 hour course. Beauty school DO NOT teach Lashes. It is a separate course and will never be apart of the course.
You guys should bring a class to the DC, Maryland, Virginia area!! Can I take the volume portion of your class if my state (Maryland) doesn't require a license to do lashes?
So if we live in california that requires the esthetician or cosmetology license. We can't take your course since you are in nevada? I ask as im looking to do beauty school next year maybe. Or year after. So I do it right way. Any advise is strongly appreciated. 😁

Yes if they teach any form of lashing it always seems to be clusters!! lol
I don’t regret going to esthetician school at all, I wanted to know more than just lash extensions but everybody is different. I refuse to judge somebody else trying to hustle!
being a lash technician is my absolute dream! i started a course online and in the middle of it the discs in my neck herniated so until i was healed i was unable to complete the course and now i am 5 months pregnant wishing hoping and praying to fulfil my dream of being a lash tech all i need is to get my certificate i practice on my mannequin every chance i get and pray i get this opportunity 🤞🏼❤️ love this company so much
Hey I'm your friendly reminder to remind you to keep practicing 🙂 because practice makes perfect.. good luck
thank goodness for the livbay course lol I learned NOTHING in esti school 🤣🤣
yesss girrrrrl
What did you learn for 600 hours than ? 😬
Up In the air it was 900 hours but all I got about lashes was a slide show for one day lol
@@rioknudsen8896 😂 yet they want you to get esthetician license to lash ...
@@rioknudsen8896 i did an esthi program back in 2014-2015 & all we learned when it came to lashes was the eyelash tabbing, tints and lifts😭😭
❤️❤️❤️
Everyone’s journey is different and we need more kindness like you two in the world 🥰
aww thank you for that ♥
Yes 100% you can't judge or hate on someone not licensed because you don't know thier situation, thankfully im licensed in cali but I hope one day we can have a special license for just lashing so not everyone has to spend thousands of dollars to go to school just to do lashes
agreed ♥♥
So I paid for a course on lashing, and I love it I've learned so much. I eventually want to go to cosmo school so that I'm legal. Are you saying I'll pay them a lot of money to learn nothing on lashing 😩
It depends on your school you can definitely ask what they teach on lashing but most seem to not teach anything unfortunately or you have to pay for outside education on it
What state do you live at? In Texas you can get licensed as a eyelash extensions specialist you clock in 320hrs. That way you don’t have to go to cosmo or esthetician school.
@@bonitaaestheticsllc yeah I heard that aswell, but I'm also not sure if I can legally do lashes with just a eyelashes extension cerification
It happens to the best of us! But we are happy that this helped 💕✨
Came looking for this comment. I just found a lash course for 50 bucks. To get certified. I'm in maryland.. I wanna do it lol
We learned nothing about extensions in Esthetics school, except what they are. I took a one day class that I didn’t learn hardly anything from, and built my skill and watched a ton of RUclips after and recently finished a LivBay course. Our state requires licensing but not certification. What a journey it’s been
Keep on going love!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It would be so nice if you taught the certification class in my school. Thank you so much for all your videos! You two are amazing!
You are so welcome!! Thanks for watching ♥
Yes! It’s crazy!
There’s lash classes in Texas that you need 320 hrs if lashing is the only service you want to do.
Hi im in texas too so what should i get first certified or licensed?
Holy heck I live in Alaska ready to get all the answers and start my business!!!!! And here you go saying Alaska lol. Great help. Thanks.
Tschandra
Good luck! Thank you for watching
Wish everyone sucess and good luck in their Lashing Journey💕
Thank You Mike & Shauna for this video!💗
We all hope it changes! ❤️
I've seen searching forever & finally, found a place that's known & accredited 🙏
been***
Amazing 👏!!! So wonderful! Keep it going love, you got this!! ❤❤❤
If you dont mind me asking .. what school?
@gina What school are you going to in Florida as I just moved here and I'm looking for a good school that's affordable and teach lashes extensively.. 😊
@@lajoycestevens4956 Hi! The English Center in Miami.
I really appreciate y’all for posting this! I feel much better. I’m obsessed with lashes and will continue working to be the best!
Aww we’re happy to hear that ❤️ you’re so welcome!
Sincerely, you two have good hearts, and, it comes through very well ...
Aweee, thank you SO much!!! 🥰🥰
@@LivBayLash Thank you for the content you both share!! It’s appreciated ...
👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼👏🏼♥️😉
Yes agreed ❤️
Thank you guys so much I am takin my first lash class this Sunday and I’m not able to sleep I’m so passionate and I have my campus tour at aveda next week this was very inspirational
Yay! Congratulations and good luck! you will be amazing 👏✨💛
I literally just emailed them today about doing the lash course here! I don’t want to waste my time or money taking the aesthetician course and maybe spending a day training in lashes! All the states definitely need to change that
YES we hope some day soon the laws will change ❤️
Awesome content ❤ what states DO NOT require cosmetology or aesthetician license? I’m in Florida. Thank you 🙏🏼
Shaunas laugh while I’m driving and listening to the podcast is the cutest ♥️😩👶👰♀️
i appreciate you all for this channel!! thank you so much for all of the info you guys share. 💗
Aw you are so welcome ❤️
So glad I live in Canada! I have friends that went to cosmetology school paid 16k and were taught lashes in one day. Such a waste to have to take courses on top of schooling
Yes its totally unfair, we hope it changes in the future for future lash techs!
At first I was super worried because I just finished a lash class and spent a bunch of money doing it and got a certification for it. BUT I am already a licensed cosmetologist. I went to a tech school while in high school I was so blessed to get that done and get licensed at the end of high school
Horray! Keep it going love 😍
I totally loved this video!!!!!! You guys helped me so much I already know how to get started !!!
Yay! Thank you love!!💜💜💜
Wait.. I was interested in taking your class! So I need to get my license first before I can take your class?
Can you please answer this question
Just got my license Oct 16!!!! 😃 now im saving up to attend your volume class!! 🥰🥰
Awesome girly ❤️ can’t wait to have you in a class!
I live in Connecticut and they incorporate a 50 hours eyelash course ($2,700) in some beauty schools
That's awesome! I'm happy to hear that they do that!
I must live on the wrong side of CT bc I just graduated esthi school and we didn’t even touch on lashes 😭🥺 although I have my esthetics license I’m working on getting a dual license for skin and lashes so I’m highly considering going back to a state accredited school for lashing tho, lashing is super big in my area rn and just being certified isn’t gonna cut it 🤞🏼😗
@Kammie yes you are right I was just looking into this school in Bridgeport ct.. I’m looking forward to signing up cause I got BIG plans in 2021!!!! ❤️
@@katreshruffin3473 Bridgeport??? Me too, lol I’m planing to enroll next month, I hope everything goes well and we get this license, I’m ready for 2021💕
@Kammie yess luv we definitely will
Get them the school I looked up is call gorgeous by glam beauty Academy.. they are located in Bpt on the eastside..
I've been in contact with DHHS in my state. Sent them what cosmetology doesnt cover regarding lashes. Plus what program i have learned through, I keep writing them. I am in contact with them almost daily!
Never give up! You got this boo 🧡🧡
You guys are great!!! I really want to take your class I saw you are coming to PA😍😍😍
You can also apprentice, which is what I did and mostly because it was more beneficial for me to work, build a clientele all while making money. It did take me twice as long to finish but was well worth it. It is also illegal to do services with any license while not operating in a licensed establishment.
Great info !! I signed up for a lash private course coming July 3rd and did not know all this 😩
Thank you!! 💖
I always learn something new when watching your videos !!!
Soo happy to hear that!! ♥
I'm in Arkansas would love to get just certified BC I can't afford the classes n only want to do lashes but I think here you have to get a licensed
Here in Texas its 325 hours to be legally licensed
Where??
I would much rather be licensed and work under somebody but I need to generate income... any advice?
y'all are amazing!!!! I'm so glad that I found y'all. Thank you for the info.
Thank you! We’re glad you found us ❤️
I'm in new Mexico albq and I have my state ESTHI license... Starting school I never had the want to do lashes... My school was offering an extra $500 cash course 1 day... Didn't learn SQUAT!!! But got certified!! Although, I just love lashing....!!! Had it not been for you guys it would of took me ages to figure everything out!!!! P.S I JUST LOVE YOU SHAUNA.. you're soooo amazing... (hope I spelled it correctly)
Aww thank you so much Amber ❤️
Just giving credit where it's due!!!! P.s how do I become a brand ambassador???
Im license lash technician in Texas (DFW) but I love to take your class. please make a mini class for Texas :) I think its good to learn from different teachers.
Great idea! 💗
Yes, one day it will be a main subject they teach but until then were here to help lol Congrats on starting your lash journey!♥
So for a lash artist should I go to school for a cosmetology license or a esthetician?
Does some government entity come by annually like they do salons and make sure you’re keeping an SDS and storing bleach properly and labeling cleaning products etc etc and have everything in order?
We haven’t had that but we do have state board come check our salons a few times a year. They always check to make sure everything is labeled ❤️
Come back to Atlanta I missed out I hope you come back❤️
I'm sure we will some time in the future! Don't forget we have virtual reality classes too, you can learn with us from anywhere! 💗💗
@@LivBayLash okay because I definitely need My lash license I definitely want my own studio besides lashes in my home thank You definitely checking out the class💋👈🏽

Oh nooo!! im sorry to hear that!
omg I'm from Tampa and I want to become a lash technician, did you go to another school? do you know better schools around Tampa?
@@chulcat honestly I'm looking at summit for additional training. They have a lot more to offer and don't stick to JUST hair. They also offer an estitician license for 700 hours if you wanted to start there. I'm graduating cosmo school this week and I think I'm going to go back and get my esti too. Think about it! And check out summit salon academy!
@@2xr1ssx nice congrats!! so you’re graduating from the summit salon academy? Also do you know if lashing is covered in the program when you start with your esthetician license?
So I am a little confused, I took a lash extension course because that’s what I want to do, but the lady who taught me didn’t tell me we needed to be licensed, we even asked and she told us that once we are certified (California) we can start right away. So is she not allowed to teach us if we are not licensed?
It depends on your state boards rules if you have to be licensed to take a courses however to legally work in California you do need a license
So happy I came across you two!!!
Yay!!! Thank you!! 💖😊
In Texas you can go to school just for lashes and get licensed which is exactly what I’m going for …but can you still lash in different states with the license
Amazing! Some states still allow. Very few but you got lucky boo!
After watching this I feel so blessed that the school I'm going to JUST implemented Lash certification in their esthetics course. I'm new to this industry and at first I didn't get the hype on the new addition to the program and now I see it. Thank you
That’s amazing and so good to hear! 💜
Wow amazing! Where are you located?
Please share, what school and state?
I loved this video!
💗💗💗
I just got certified in July 2021....I live in Texas.
Congratulations 👏
Great explanation Mike & Shauna !
Thanks Mike Jones! :)
💖💖💖
Where did you start talking about the diferreences?
its in the video!
Did you guys talk about lashing insurance ?
hey Canada, its me, ya boy. I am in Canada and want to do a lash course, but my town is small and one place charges 2k and its a 4 day course, it seems so short for me. how long should a good course be?
I went to esthetician school only payed $800 community college finish in March 2020.
They payed for a training for lashes
However I took volume with livbay and they were worth every penny.
I just don’t like when people want to had out certificates and don’t mention you need a license .
And most girls didn’t want to do lashes after they saw how hard it is in school .
I’m glad you enjoyed our class ❤️ and that’s awesome your school payed for lash training!
Hi love! You should be able to go visit your state board website for that information or call 💗

Oh my goodness you came to Tampa in January. Wthhhhhhhhhh 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I started esthetician school Jan 11th.
I’m sure we’ll be back or somewhere close by ❤️
In our state, we have to be licensed in esthe. or cosmo. in order to legally lash, but we can get lash certified as long as we are students in either.
Yes as long as it’s allowed by state board than you can still take the course if your in school ❤️
Shauna is holding my certificate!! ❤️
Connecticut schools have now included a license just for lashes - 50 course hours. I wish all states would specially NY. How do you guys work with the state?
That is so awesome!
Appreciate you guys so much!!❤️ my favs
Thanks boo♥♥
Do you need to be licensed to teach certification courses? I’m a lash artist/trainer from Canada
Hi love, it depends on what your area requirements are. 💖
Thank you for this. It was very informative.
You are so welcome ❤️
We have a few videos on this ❤️
Hello, hopefully this isn’t a dumb question but is it possible to take cosmetology classes online? Or everything has to be in person? I live in the middle of nowhere & the closest beauty school to me is an hour away
You would need to check with your state! ❤️
Wait if Get certified in a state where you don’t need to have an Etsy liscense how do i make sure I’m insured compared to someone with a liscense?
This is a great question, if you DM us on Instagram we can get Mike to answer it…he is the BIG brain on this stuff!
Im only half way through this video and i am rolling! Its hard to amuse me but yall are fuc*ing great together! New subscriber ;)
Awee, thank you SOO much!!! Hehe 🥰😊😍
💜💜💜
You guys should bring a class to the DC, Maryland, Virginia area!! Can I take the volume portion of your class if my state (Maryland) doesn't require a license to do lashes?
Yes we’d love to make it out that way! And yes ❤️
I am in Maryland and was going to post almost the EXACT same thing!
So if we live in california that requires the esthetician or cosmetology license. We can't take your course since you are in nevada? I ask as im looking to do beauty school next year maybe. Or year after. So I do it right way. Any advise is strongly appreciated. 😁
Yes so if you were to come to Nevada to take our course you would need to be licensed in order to take it❤️
Love you guys! Come to Idaho please!
We will keep that in mind! 😍
