Whar a magnificent creature! My Siberian Timber wolf , was a blue wolf with blue eyes , his name was Merlin, he weighed only 150 lbs., his black, golden eyed, brother Fang, on the other hand, was 175 lbs. Big boys. Merlin was the most loyal faithful guardian & companion I ever had in my life.
"Only" I completely understand, my rpttie was about 135 lbs and he was still small to me, my cane Corso was about 110 and she was Itty bitty😂

That is magnificent…it’s a mix of gray wolf DNA, dog DNA, and blue DNA from both parents and the blue color is usually derived from blue German shepherds

I think he's mixed also. He looks like a blue bay shepherd. They were bred to resemble a wolf but without the wolf temperament.
Yes. They're called hybrid wolf dogs. The woman that runs that big pit bull (now also a lot of hounds ) rescue called Villa Lobos. And had that show Pit bulls & paroles, also has a sanctuary for wolf dogs. Obv most breeds of dogs origionate from wolves that evolved over hundreds of years, and most became domesticated. There are many ppl who own wolf dogs now in the US but they're not legal in all states.

I've had several hybrids, and the pet owner relationship is wayyyyyy different with a wolf. Some of the pups will have the "head space" of a dog and some the wolf. This beauty has more of a "dog look" to his personality🤔

Man’s best friend has been symbiotic companions codomesticating partner of reciprocity for eons, not like horse off steppe 6.5 millennia at least double. They crossed the glaciations in full ice age as solo other species. Walked the ice kilometers above land with us.

He is absolutely gorgeous!! What a magnificent wolf!!! The very best dog we had when I was growing up was a half wolf, half German shepherd, who was marked up like a Rottweiler. She was born on Christmas eve in 1979, right before my 2nd birthday on February 9th. She was with us until I was 14 & the man who lived behind us poisoned her. Never seen my Dad cry that hard or that bad over another animal. She was so protective of us! I ever get the chance to have another, you can bet your sweet tail i ain't listening to ANYTHING ANYONE says & he/she will be coming to their forever home with me!!! 💜🖤💯
