      True man, toughest position in football to play. You have to be cocky as hell and have a lot of confidence at corner. Along with quick hips and speed, you also need to have good ball skills. All the best corners have great reaction skills and play the ball very well and are able to anticipate routes.

    The elite players all talk about the mental side is what makes the difference. It’s his patience that makes so many of these routes work. He’s playing chess while the dB is players checkers. Awesome receiver

    Imo almost every nfl player has the athleticism to be “elite” it’s those who have the mental toughness, knowledge, and patience to perfect their game that truly separate themselves from the others

      I agree, but no not every player has the athletic potential to be elite. Guys who get drafted in the 5th round aren’t “elite potential” athletes. While some of them become elite players, they are hardly the best athletes in the league.

    As a Raiders fan, im glad he looks comfortable in Dallas. I felt like there was too much pressure in the beginning but once he started feeling the game, he knew his worth. I wish it stayed AC/DC but am happy for him

    Man we got a steal when we got Amari, a guy in his prime that plays receiver as a chess match !!! Shows how good he is, and we get the benefits of our receivers being given advice from him as well. Also later in life what an incredible receiver coach he would be, and a offensive coach. Very valuable and stand up guy with team player written all over him. Yay for us !!!

    Cooper is underrated. He's one of the top receivers in the NFL. Dallas was dumb to give him away. Also, it's nice to see a well-mannered, clean-cut guy like this who isn't all covered in tats like most players seem to be.

      @@argenisrangel8 clearly you don't watch football. Julio is a freak athlete but not a great route runner. He sucks in short areas which is why he doesn't get red zone TDS. No doubt one of the best receivers in the league but his route running is one weak spot in his game.

    Don't care what no one says, the CB position is the hardest position to play football.     Elite route runner, great football IQ... really well-schemed, patient, offensive play design.... If Coop didn't have so many bad drops and was more consistent (especially in the big games that matter the most), he could be one of the best of all time.

    What I love about football is that each position has it's dialects, football is the main language. So Amari speaks wideout patois, Watson and Warner speak QB, the DB's speak sign language, but they understand wideout patois, LB and safety speak everything, DT and DE speak QB too.

    I love this mans routes. I know the stats might not be there, but I am starting to wonder if he deserves to be talked about in the discussion of best wide receiver in the NFL! His footwork and routes are A+ polished!! Their offense spreads it around. It's not just about Amare. They have to feed Zeke too

      Coop has been top 5 to 10 since he was drafted. He might have been the most polished route runner coming out of college in the last 50 years. His only knock is drops. He has great hands but because he's one of the best after the catch he gets caught thinking about what he's going to do after the catch and drops the ball.
