Just yesterday, it was revealed that Sam Mowry the voice of Kessler passed away. In addition to voicing Kessler, he also voiced Arpeggio from Sly 2, Alexander from Amnesia the Dark Descent and Rhaast from DOTA 2. While losing an especially exceptional voice actor like him is tragic, I’m thankful this video is here to preserve the work he made for this game. Thank you.
I really like how the way Kessler taunts you and forces you back into the arena if you try to run is contextualized as more than just a gameplay mechanic. He made the mistake of running and he paid for it: he won't let Cole do the same.

10:17 That "you have no idea how hard this is for me" hits different. Such a well written character
Unfortunate news has just struck. The voice of Kessler and Arpeggio from the sly cooper games , Sam A. Mowry , had passed away 4 days ago.
He was such an underrated voice actor. The guy deserved a game award for best-voicing acting.

Kessler: *Laughing* That remains to seen. Meet at Staton Building.

Sounds like there are plenty of alternate unused lines! Very interesting. Lots of foreshadowing of his true identity as well.
