Dyno tuning should work wonders. That way you will see exactly what the heck is going on in the transmission.

Looks like electrical as far as the trans issue goes. Brake lights keep getting triggered so I'd check that pedal switch too.

Get in contact with Mopar and have them sponsor a demon transmission. Those shift patterns are wonky. I am so happy to see a family enjoy their hobby/job 👍👍👍🥇🥇🏆🏆🏆🎖️🎖️🎖️💯💯💯 Snr Autowerx made a great observation of your brake lights coming on everytyme they manual shift with the paddles. Check the wiring with dealing with brake switch and transmission

That is 30 minutes north of my mom's and dad's house. Dad used to be part of the safety crew out there for a few years.
And Gainesville is about an hour from my house.
Check the abs system, I noticed that the car kept turning the brake lights with every shift. 16:35

it's just me or the brake light turns on when is shifting in automatic? if that's it, maybe the ecu detects that something wrong is happening and not allowing the car to speed up, i dont know. I remember when i had a faulty handbrake switch and the cruise control stopped working every time the switch made contact.

You can put the suspension in street mode so the softer setting can allow the car to lean back over the axle. You will get better grip I promise. I'm 11.2 @ 129mph on a fully stock 707hp 2016 HC on a prepped surface with all season Mich PS4's
Something in the ecm programming for the transmission trying to limit shaft speed to keep it from exploding maybe. ?

Dyno means you run a vehicle on stationary wheels so you get its speeding performance while staying in place. It's how vehicles are tuned for high speed.

Has to do with the shift and the brake lights flicker. Check the traction control. Can you shut it off?

Why keep trying to race it without fixing the transmission?? It’s not going to fix itself
We do try things and then go to the track and test it. The crazy thing is it’s not throwing a code or anything for it and it’s not letting us communicate with it. We were trying to get data for our tuner so he can see what is going on. So that is why…we obviously know driving it is not fixing it but you have to drive it to get data.

@@ceceliajacob2263 I've built many, many cars from scratch and never take them straight to the track. Always goes straight on a dyno (rolling road)..
Safety first.. Not just personal safety but also so components can be tested under load and engine/transmission parameters can be monitored to avoid expensive potential damage.
Brake lights keep lighting up during shifting. Maybe something to do with torque converter lockup?
Is the gear ratio different in the ecu from the other car? Trackhawk?
Limp mode usually means speed sensor, Speedo, or something to do with electrical.
Or being way off on rolling diameter. Wheel speed vs rpm in certain gears
Is there a way to split the amount of drive between the differentials like in the sti

You are right i just noticed when you mentioned it. The brake switch may be causing the erratic shifts with the transmission.
I see what you mean. I also see that the driver of the pickup red lit. Who's choosing to use the Pro Tree, the pickup driver? It certainly wasn't Desi.
Use your paddle shift from the start
One word “tuning”.
Hits the rev limiter in auto mode... you can't adjust the rev limiter or shift points. Wife needs to work on when to shift in manual mode lol

Figure out why in manual mode it puts the brakes on for each shift. You can see it apply the brakes between shifts and slow it down

It seems to be your shift point and your rev limit aren't right. It really sounds like it's bouncing off the limiter in 3rd and 4th before shifting.

That day they were doing pro tree and not the way we were used to so defiantly something we need to work on but we weren’t focused on the tree we were more trying to get data.

Your coolant temperature sensor see if it’s bad it could have a rev limiter that’s effected by the sensor 🤷🏼♂️

I'm wondering if your sticky shifting is related to a possible faulty brake light switch as it came on at every change on one run of the strip.
you need to check out KSR OR DR TUNEM ALL they tune on Cleetus McFarland's cars they near you bet they can help with tuning it maybe do a Collab together both have RUclips channels.
