This is just WONDERFUL!! David's headshot inside the Formosa Cafe reminded me of how often Janssen must have shown his (ahem) "hospitality" to his gorgeous guest stars, since the Cafe was right across the street from The Lot (Samuel Goldwyn Studios) where the series was filmed. Also at 3:41 above, the entrance to Disney's (formerly Jim Henson's) Muppets Productions shows Charlie Chaplin on the gate guard's door, and a 10-ft. Kermit the Frog dressed like Chaplin's Little Tramp atop the brick gate column. Originally Chaplin Studios, home of so many great silent films, then it fell into disrepair and was bought for a song by Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss for their A&M Records, who signed hundreds of successful recording artists and was the home of the recording of "We Are the World" in 1985. See the excellent documentary "The Greatest Night In Pop".
I really wish I knew of this fantasic gathering of devoted fans of "THE FUGITIVE" and my friend, DAVID JANSSEN! I would lioved to have been there! I hope you all enjoyed THE FORMOSA!
