  • Surfing perfect waves is great, but more often than not, the waves are less than perfect, windy, onshore etc. I've learnt to love the sub-standard days, try to make the most of every chance I have to surf. I switch boards just to make it more interesting. And bonus; stay fit for the good days.
The boards here are: 6'10 Nautilus (not my favourite in these conditions), 6'6 Long Phish-futures-keels (great fun) 7'4 Long Phish-glass-ins (great fun, good to cruise on, excellent paddler on the high tide days).
    Cheers

I actually had one..7'4...but sold it. I liked it but liked the long phish more in that size, a bit faster due to the parallel rails and concave between fins. My TT had a pretty big V through fins. The TT is a very easy board to surf though and in average beach break type waves I think it'd be good. Cheers

Lol you call that messy? I liked you on the 6'10 and 6'6 more than the 7'4. 7'4 looks like too much board.

Yep, the 6'6 is definitely my favourite. The 7'4 is a good challenge and for a bit of variety. Also very good for those very high tide days. Cheers.
