I recently upgraded from 8 Pro to the smaller 9 Pro and loving that form factor. I love the new weather app and the deep ai integration.
I'm loving the phone too, but the weather widget is completely inaccurate half the time, even with my VPN split-tunneling the app.
Got the small pro in Hazel. This thing is beautiful. I was unsure about the colour because I usually get white/ silver combo. No regrets!

Great review. It's incredible how Apple has fallen behind in AI development. The Pixel 9 Pro has 16GB of RAM. Google has outdone Apple with GEMINI ADVANCE even for mid-range phones and in multiple languages.

I love my google 9 pro xl. I made several videos using the pixel studio software. It’s addictive and fun.

I love the pixel xl 9. I sent it back because I review phones and I am going to review iPhone 16 pro.
I have to say the pixel 9 xl in the real world is amazing.
I LOVE The pixel 9 Series especially the new design and the the two Pros' are amazing !! Google should keep this New design !! -- The only downside though is that it did not come with Android 15 pre installed --.
It didn't come pre installed because the pushed the event up earlier than they usually do, since the later releases of the fold and the smaller 9 pro, all the devices would have been ready to go from day 1 if it were to release in October with the android 15 release which is in October... They were trying to get ahead of the apple event to try and get those sales, I think they did good and I have been on the android 15 beta for awhile especially with my pixel fold and now with my pixel 9 pro, I'm honestly waiting on the 16 beta now😂
@@RJ_Uploads I understand but This years' amazing line up of phones with last years' Android version -- The same version as Pixel 8 Series. Pixel 9 series should have gone to Android 22 not the same as pixel 8 Series.

Apple did not create the flat sided design on a phone. That's why it continually irks me to no end to hear reviewers refer to pixels design as something apple created . In fact Apple creates very little originally.

I quite like this Pixel 9 Pro XL, however, I really don't like is this Apple-like 🍏 bad spirit that Google necessarily wants to bring to Android "Offering very little in terms of hardware, and selling at a very high price", under the guise of "Optimization", as if other manufacturers did not optimize their smartphones 🤷🏽♂️
This Pixel 9 Pro XL is a fairly good smartphone, but at $700-$800 maximum and with 256G, not $1200 with 128G.

Hi Jen. I'm in a position where I can get an S24U at a heavily discounted price because of work vouchers but I'm kind of leaning towards the Pixel because I've always been drawn to their cameras, UI and aesthetic.
Coming from a base S22 Exynos (my current phone) would you say the S24U is a significant upgrade and worth grabbing at a relatively low price? Or should I wait until the P9P XL goes on sale and get that instead? It's a really tough decision for me right now.

If S24Ultra with the Sanp . absolutely and it kills the P9P - I have both
IMO you have to make a decision between the formfactor, which camera style you like better and if you need the Spen. The Pixel lays better in the hand, Samsung brings the ecosystem which I like very much. Really a tough decision 😄 I have the feeling that the Pixel is more "smart" than the S24 Ultra, but it's actually more gimmicks at this point.
@@thegermantechgirl agree the feel and how you can hold it is great. Wait for S25, or if you want an amazing phone for little money I would highly recommend OnePlus 12. I had it before my P9P the only reason why I got the P9P is the 6.3 inch

I can tell she only reps this phone because it looks like an iphone, specswise the pixel is mediocre, slow charging , slow soc , small storage, slow storage speed
I've got an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Pixel 9Pro XL and used an S24 Utra before. The Pixel Pro isn't mediocre at all and the charging is as "fast" as with IPhone and though I am not a gamer, it works fluently and smoothly all day. Apart from that it always depends on your personal taste, expectations and of course the way you normally use it. And besides, Jen is not that keen on Apple or at least Apple alone :)
