Nice video showing off features and image quality. In June 2024 i found a mint quality used on with a good price and have now had it for a few days. Rally like its smaller size since i plan to travel with it and use it on both my A7CR and A7CII. Will see how it goes. I will also compare it with the 70-200/2.8 GM II I have had since it came out. Used that version on both my A1 and A7RV. Take care.

I'm considering spending some of my hard earned cash on it, but before I do I would like to see in detail what it's capable of in terms of IQ (sharpness mainly). Dustin, Gordon and Chris (and now Albert Dros too) looked at the lens with their usual decent image comparisons, but you covered it in much better detail. Why did you chose a teleconverters over extension tubes?

Great comparison, cool that you included 1.4x and 2x TC, 1.4x looks still acceptable.
