However, since they’re all one massive TRG family (or so Ari Zonia’s TRG family tree would have you believe), “teams” are more of a suggestion as members of each family swap sides with the help of donations.
I feel like Jule’s abrasive comedy kinda bit him in the butt here since I noticed chat getting actually nasty towards him here and at the end of the marathon. My guess is because some people who didn’t know Jules very well weren’t used to his style of comedy, specifically antagonizing the chat for laughs, so they were mean to him because the were offended. You can especially see this where chat clearly forgave Tyler for choosing Gengar and but not Jules. Also the Mods and Light Gold Bold Text were constantly complimenting chat and praising them for being super great, which may have made Jule’s jokes not land as well and sparked confusion, granted that is only my interpretation of what I saw live. However, this was probably my favorite moment of the entire event, and a lot of that has to do with Jule’s abrasive comedy being really well executed and how well it clashed with Tyler’s cluelessness. Fantastic job TRG.

Oh this was a really fun segment. Carlos is a great host and chose good questions, and the setup works really well - both technically and in terms of how it plays out in allowing for wonderful amounts of humor from the participants.

I was listening to colosseum at work and I had been drinking a lot of water since I was packing chips nearly the entire night. I nearly pissed myself from laughter TWICE when jules and jon almost blew up at the dodgeball guess during the mario sports games segment and Tyler guessing the same things as jules. Who knew trg colosseum would almost cause accidents outside home!

I can definitely understand someone who's only familiar with the trading card game to call Gengar Psychic, since the cards use the same symbol for Psychic and Ghost, just like how they also use the Grass symbol for Poison, and the Fighting symbol for Rock and Ground
They only used Grass for Poison during Gens 1-3 though. They now use Dark (or Darkness as the TCG calls it) and from Gen 4-7 it was actually Psychic. Just to make things confusing.
