Perfect video! This is exactly what I was looking for. Many ppl or sites don't mention how smoky la nuit is our the incense in the notes. I love compare and contrast videos. With many lines having large ranges it's hard to know which one to buy or try when you can only buy one! I didn't realize how much I didn't like incense in fragrance until having a few🥴

@@laurs5551 I had the full range and did a video about it🥰. I just gifted my original to my sister. I attributed the smokiness in the original to the incense. So the smokiness is what I couldn't really handle. A la folie is great and I still have that one💜

They’re both definitely in my top favorites and are two of the ones that I smell before going to bed because they’re that great. I love everything about both of them, their fragrances, sillage, performance, and the fact that their some of the few that my husband enjoys smelling and he’s ecstatic about their bottles. He thinks they have the most beautiful packaging. These are both that I would never want to run out of in my collection. I would literally buy what I could if they were to ever be discontinued. I’m a little more partial towards Tresor La Nuit but I really do love A La Folie nearly just as much.

I bought La Nui Tresor Ala Folie 2 weeks ago. Very oriental smell like Hypnotic Poison. I got almost all of the La Nui Tresor Range. For some reasons, they work well with my skin and I don't get rashes like do with La Vie Est Belle.

I tried la nuit before don’t remember the smell, but I will go to macy’s to try both, and A La Folie is already drive me crazy as the name says it, because I love perfumes with tonka beans notes, and I have seen you like tonka as well; I just bought FLOWERBYKENZO eau de parfum by KENZO girl omg it smells amazzzzzzing, once it sit on your skin you smell the musc the tonka and bourbon vanilla❤️❤️❤️❤️Sara my dear you should try it, be careful kenzo have lots of flinker, but it is the long pointy bottle that has the red flower, again amazzzzzing you will love it, and I will try and buy la nuit and a la folie as well, great short and sweet review👍👍👍

I have and I wouldn’t say that the purple ruby is a dupe but they are very similar fragrances. The purple ruby is a bit more gourmand than la nuit and it doesn’t have the rose. I get more of a caramel note in the purple ruby and a but less of a sweet praline note in la nuit. Both gray fragrances though! 😊

I agree, but personally when I was 27 I bought LNT and I sell it because I found it too mature. Caresse version is better option in my opinion :) I never smell à la folie.
Does La Nuit Tresor (2019 reformulation) have a good staying power and sillage on you skin? I can barely smell it after 4 hours and a half on my skin. Bought mine on the official Lancome website.
You have the reformulation as well. 😊 Original La Nuit Tresor had different notes: Top notes were Pear, Tangerine and Bergamot; middle notes were Strawberry, Vanilla orchid, Black Rose and Passionfruit; base notes were Praline, Caramel, Litchi, Patchouli, Vanilla, Incense, Coffee, Licorice, Coumarin and Papyrus. That is why I was asking if yours performs different on the skin. Maybe I just got bad batch.@@SarahMayes

Hi, have you heard about the new perfume in the Tresor line called “nude” ? It’s all over Instagram but it’s not on the USA website. I tried calling several department stores and either they have no info on release date or they haven’t heard about it.
I still wear og Tresor. I started off by nicking squirts from my mum's bottle as a teen, but now I have to buy my own because she apparently thinks 44 is too old to be stealing your mother's perfume 🤣

I have and I wouldn’t say that the purple ruby is a dupe but they are very similar fragrances. The purple ruby is a bit more gourmand than la nuit and it doesn’t have the rose. I get more of a caramel note in the purple ruby and a but less of a sweet praline note in la nuit. Both gray fragrances though! 😊
