I own la nuit tresor clone. At first I can't stand the smell, so overwhelmingly fruity sweet. But months later, I fall in love & my other parfums don't give me an awe anymore.

I've started a perfume collection based on your recommendations. My top 5 fragrances would be
1. Tom Ford Metallique. The man at the store did not even finish spraying it and I said wrap it up I'll take it
2. Carolina Herrera Good Girl, also love the Legere version as well but the original is stunning
3. Prada Candy Night my husband loves that hint of chocolate on me.
4. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue intense. You were absolutely correct that this is the scent for summer. Its so light and fresh
5. Gucci flora eau de parfum. A classic. I've had this perfume for nearly 10 years. This is a date night perfume.
Thank you so much for all your suggestions. I rely on them so much when being able to go to a store and test perfumes has been rather tricky now.

I have an anniversary coming November 1st and my husband is buying me la nuit tresor 🤤 it's going to be a blind buy for me but it sounds right up my alley. I already have Mon Guerlain, DG light blue and La vie este Belle (the orginal) so you seem to have a similar smell preference as me. I am also getting Dior addict Fraiche which I haven't heard you talk about but I used to have Dior addict (possibly Dior addict 2, it was definitely a pink bottle) back in highschool, I dont recall what it smelled like but I used to love it so I'm choosing it as my second bottle for nostalgia. It was between that and the orginal Dior addict and YSL libre. They are all on my list, it's just so hard to pick which to get first 😆
I have been buying my daughter D&G light blue every Christmas for the past three years because it’s her favorite this year she turned 18 so I thought I would switch it up and buy her something different I bought Gucci Bamboo - she was not impressed at all, will be going back D&G but will get her the new intense version hope it’s just as good

It’s really interesting how telling the notes of a perfume knowing what it is just by it’s scent mostly women perfume is always sweet floral and fruity based but there are some with a luring scent and the men’s perfume have a Different scent
