As a mental health professional, thank you for distinguishing between having a collection & hoarding. I agree that the term "hoarding" gets overused/inappropriately used nowadays. Sometimes there's a fine line, but not as often as people think.
My worlds are colliding! 😱Admittedly, I’ve not been watching Amberlynn lately as there are only so many times one can watch her sit on a couch and eat. Plus, I still mourn the “Hillbilly Holler” arc. However… Organizedlynn (AKA Kondolynn) is one of my favorite characters in the Amberverse. This was iconic, Kay, and you were so considerate to our gorl.
I agree about not calling a drawer "Junk" . I agree with taking the manufacturer labels ....You bought it, it's yours now...lol Label it. Clear bins are the best!!
Coming from Zach's video! You have such a sweet personality, you actually seem like you're trying to help and not just judge. Excited to watch your other organizing videos as I also need some help haha
Thank you for doing a reaction to an organizing video. I hope you do more. It felt like a mini class in organization. Real Life situations. You mentioned “phase 1”. I needed to be reminded of the phases. I think I’ve been spinning my wheels in Phase 1. I don’t seem to be satisfied with the amount of stuff I still have - but still hesitate to let go. I have “let it go” moments and “but, it’s still useful” moments. And, I know… it’s only useful if I’m actually using it or seriously will use it. ✳️ Utility is the description I use for a drawer in the kitchen where we store useful things like glue, tape, pens, magnifier, scissors, etc. and a hall closet where we store the vacuum, carpet cleaner, feather duster, reusable shopping bags, etc. I grew up where people had these and a utility room and even a utility cart. I’ve never had a junk drawer. ✳️I loved how respectful you were to Amberlynn. You were kind, considerate, thoughtful and helpful. I wasn’t surprised. You are a professional and your reaction reflected your professionalism. Now, after watching this - I want to post a video and have you give me advice! 😂 You pointed out all the good things she’s doing and offered some ideas and recommendations. I hope she watches this video, appreciates the spirit with which you gave your reaction and that she gives you some feedback. …I wanna know what’s in that box too. I’m betting it’s a Christmas tree. 😉. GOOD JOB! 👍❤️👍

Same. From this video (I have never heard of this RUclipsr before), I guess at least a good amount of hate is due to her having a girlfriend (Kay mentioned it in the video when talking about the two vacuums).
@@M-Joy totally guessing on this. Never heard of this RUclipsr before and from the little Kay has said, that’s all I could really pick up on. Again, no idea.
@@aylacrissman3443 nah, that's not at all why. I mean, I don't doubt there are bigots who hate her for that but it's never a talking point or anything. People need to be VERY careful when throwing around the label of "hoarder". Depressed people have a hard time letting go of things, but even that does not mean they are a hoarder. So unless your their doctor with a PHD and specialized in hoarders, please people have some common sense and don't go around labelling people please.
@@namehere4954 So what is the weight limit for someone her height doctor? What is the collection limit for candles, journals, and earrings, oh supreme one? That is a lot, yes. But last I checked USA is a FREE country and there are no limits set for collections. God Bless the USA! And one more thing... You don't know what she plans to do with those collections and it is none of your business.
@@namehere4954 Not at all actually. I simply defend people's rights as a USA citizen myself. I am a feminist who believes in equality for ALL. We do not live under a dictator here. Thank God!
@@namehere4954 Practically everything you have is bought. What you have is your choice. Some want a house while other want an RV. Some prefer to buy while others prefer to rent. To each their own. Not everyone has to be minimal if they can afford not to and collecting makes them happy. What makes you happy? And would it be right for me to take that away from you and label you just because I didn't agree? You have your opinion and she has hers. It is her life in the end so your judgement is really not needed. Don't bother yourself with things you don't agree with that others are within their rights to do. Just go live your life. As a content creator I want to keep up with my colleagues and it’s been a few years since I’ve done a reaction video to another RUclipsr which is why you aren’t used to seeing this kind of content. I am not more special than any other professional doing a reaction video of which there are thousands and some are very nasty. But as stated in the video, I do my best to treat everyone I feature on my channel with compassion and kindness as they have been so brave to put their homes on social media to be judged by tens of thousands of strangers. Viewers enjoy the discussions and creators I’ve featured have been grateful to be treated with empathy and I am as much as a public figure as anyone else on this platform. Derral Eves and Nick Nimmin surprised me and roasted the heck out of me a few years ago lol ruclips.net/video/TiULJywBpyE/видео.html

I'd love to see you do more reactions. It's very helpful.

When comes to Amber just keep your receipts just in case..Even though she says she don't watch reaction channels she does...She says she doesn't read comments but she does..
Who is Amberlynn?
One of those vacuum cleaners looks like a carpet shampooer
Of course Amber could have donated the cat litter to a shelter but apparent she didn't call a shelter just like she didn't call the Goodwill to check on operational hours.
Life is short, make it sweet not sour.
@Buttered Toast Well, everyday is a chance to learn and/or understand something new. The trick is to stay open minded and to respect diversity in life. 🧬

What's all this about actual labeled house hold items??Is it just a tictoc trend??
I am VERY surprised that you would do this type of format. Very unprofessional to publicly criticize other RUclips content creators.
I totally agree, Kay. You were very respectful to this RUclips and even gave her free tips on what she was trying to achieve. And, in fact, when you were given advice by those two a few years back, I got the impression you were appreciative and that you made some slight changes based on what they had recommended.
I'd love to see you do more reactions. It's very helpful.
Thanks for sharing this! I would have never seen her channel otherwise and it was kind of fun to get a look at a "real" house and get some of your feedback. I'm going to go get some shelving for my large totes. And labeled them!
