had no doubt my NOLA two would collaborate. Enjoyed it Bunches will watch over and over, as I do with both your idol videos. loved Quentin's solo video. GREAT DAYS AHEAD FOR BOTH OF YOU! !!
I'm in complete awe with the amount of talent and artwork that went into this masterpiece. Big things are coming for you you too, I can feel it!✨ Concept: Listening to this song on vinyl on a stormy day, with a lit sage candle on the counter💕
This is such a great song and the video is hypnotic. I am supposed to be working on a weekly report at the moment but I gotta watch this again! Joey-you never cease to amaze. And FAM! did an amazing job shooting and editing this concept. Sure-I am a little biased because of my love for New Orleans (and the growing love for you and your music). Peace until I see you again! Hopefully in Houston sometime soon!
LOVE THIS! Joey you and Quentin are two of my favorite artists from your season of Ai but I didn;t know what to expect of your original music because I've only heard your retro covers up until now. I am definitely a FAN - this is darker than I would have expected but also delicate, haunting and listenable. It got under my skin (pun not intended - or maybe it is.) And the video looks gorgeous. WELL DONE!
Nice to see that the art of the music video is not dead. I don't think I'd have liked this song nearly as much without the visual to go with it. And it works eerily well. Also: love seeing Joey and Quentin together again ;)
I really dig the NOLA locations in this video, like Pirate Alley and I swear I've walked over the decrepit Chartres St sign on that corner. Joey, I got to see you perform with some friends over in Gulfport, MS last time I was down there and it was amazing, keep it up!
You gypsed it! A unique and cool way to interpret the song...loved it! Worth the wait. Congrats and wishing it great success! I need it on my playlist, is it on iTunes yet?
Kaylena Rose I'm not entirely sure. But I think I was expecting Quentin to have more to do with the song, and the video itself felt like it ended right before something big was about to happen. The song just felt short to me, I was expecting something like a "big moment" in the song. It's still a good song though.
+Mayara T. My thoughts exactly. It was building, and then.. Poof! finished. I think that is more the song than the video tho. Quentin needs his own vocal part, either in the 2nd verse or in the bridge (that isn't there). Great video concept tho.
Love the video but wish there were some parts that had that powerful voice that's in there. The creative video suits the mode wonderfully but I miss the strong confident voice that Joey has inside.
Wow what a concept! What a video! What a song! Love you Joey and so proud of you.
Aubrey Logan she was my neighbor for like eleven years
@@GD-wn3ww lucky you.

A true original of artistic impressionism meets romanticism in all the right tones. Brilliant.
Just beautiful. I miss New Orleans so much.
Amazing Amazing Amazing! great job Joey!
NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS. Also i'm so happy Quentin is in this Joey and him together is like baked apples.

Love this! When I was in Nola in October `17, I kept looking for those shots.

When I watched this the only thing I could think of was ahs coven
Great song. I didn't like it for the first few seconds because of the distortion on the voices, but it really does work. I can't wait for the album.
awesome song Joey. What's the name of the album?
THE VARIETY SHOW ❤️
+Joey Cook thanks. please don't get so successful to where you can't respond back to your fans. I love you and your music!
Btw, did you end up getting married yet?
+Joey Cook the album name speaks it all!! love it variety!!!
Gorgeous paint stuff, but god I hope that was facepaint
Loved it. But it feels somewhat... incomplete.
In what way?
+Mayara T. I agree. There really wasn't a bridge.

Knot Meigh yeah, he does! and the video is beautiful!
:-)
What happened to this band
Love the video but wish there were some parts that had that powerful voice that's in there. The creative video suits the mode wonderfully but I miss the strong confident voice that Joey has inside.
Its the mixing on the track, it kind of mutes some of the rawness in Joey's voice.
It kind of reminds me of Melanie Martinez's stuff.
