Super excited about this game! I was in the same boat of not being allowed to play this growing up. I heard from a twitter post that several of these scenes are actual in-game footage and not just cinematics, which means that the graphics are going to be INSANE!
Not just Downtown Miami but I'm guessing they're gonna include The Everglades as well, a big frigging map, the biggest they've ever had before maybe even combining every gta map together
A lot of the stuff in this trailer is stuff that has happened in real life in Florida, there was a guy who was caught on camera naked watering his yard, there was once a alligator at a Walmart, there was actually a woman twerking on top of a car, there was a man walking around naked being Chased by the cops, and there was a real woman caught on camera walking around with hammers in her hands.
I wonder if those scenes are from cutscenes or actually you get to play that. Also it looks like social media will be a huge thing in the game and I wonder if we will be able to record random stuff and post it on social media and get reactions

Some little context. Each GTA game is set within a fictional State/City based on a range of locations or simply a single location. This is similar to the RDR games where we have fictional States with fictional counties, towns, and cities. GTA IV was set in Liberty City within the State of Liberty, based on New York City and New York State. GTA V was set in Los Santos within the State of Southern San Andreas, Based on L.A and California. GTA VI will be set in Vice City within the State of Leonida, Based on Miami and Florida. GTA does mention real world states as well and a few times cities for example you'll hear Florida mentioned in GTA IV. So in my head canon Leonida could be like a sister State to Florida similar to New Austin in RDR with how it's very much southern Texas yet Texas is mentioned and exists. GTA also rebooted in 2008 with the release of GTA IV with the past games being know as the 3D universe. This gave Rockstar the ability to change anything relating to classic locations for example Liberty City featured in GTA lll was a VERY differant city to what was featured in GTA IV. In IV Liberty City was solely based on New York City while in GTA lll it was based on a range of cities instead of one and everything from landmarks to streets, islands and distracts were all changed and renamed between the two games, layout of the city as well and islands. Basically it's a whole differant city so it makes it impossible to connect to the older games. and so Rockstar did a reboot. Vice City was also in Florida in GTA: Vice City and even co existed alongside Miami which is not the case for GTA VI. So if you do play the classic games don't expect locations to line up 100% but everything else from brands, fictional famous GTA characters etc. These all carried over between universes. The original 3D era protagonists are also not mentioned and the events of those games seem to have never happened in the HD universe.
I've been playing through GTA Vice City on my PS4 for the last two weeks, just for shits and giggles. Anyway, on one of the talk radio stations in the game, they mention Tampa. Edit: The talk staions are my absolute favorite. And all the voice actors carry over, and it's just so awesome!

As someone who's stopped playing video games as much as I've got older this trailer has definitely reignited my desire to play video games again, I can't wait for it to come out. I'm so jealous you get to play GTA 4 and 5 for the first time. Both are amazing games, 4 is my favourite though, the storyline is like a Hollywood movie.

When you get around to a GTA playthrough, i would suggest playing GTA IV and then GTA V in that order. Both games are in the same timeframe and it will make understanding subtle easter eggs and character mentions in GTA V a lot better as the events of V take place after the events of IV.
I'm still in the middle of watching your video, but wanted to comment that this is my favorite reaction video, so far. Your reactions are genuine and hilarious and it's neat to see this through your eyes. With that said, you should strongly consider playing through GTA V if you're interested in VI. If you're a fan of Red Dead Redemption, it's the next logical step.

You will love the series. I always felt RDR and GTA are very closely related. Same kind of freedoms and open worlds just set in different time periods. Though I think GTA is a bit more light hearted over all. My first brush with GTA was the very first one. In 1998 I was in my senior year at college and worked at the college radio station. Someone had downloaded the original GTA to the station's computer. I loved it. It was a top down view but still was a lot of fun. Then as 3d games started becoming a thing, I was thinking how amazing it would be if they did GTA in 3D. Not too much later GTA 3 came out in 3D and blew my mind. I have played through the entire series and every one has been a masterpiece and they have only gotten better graphically. This one looks absolutely amazing. This is the first generation of consoles that I don't have the latest but I guess I will be buying either a PS5 or XBX by 2025 since this isn't going to be on PC at release. My only beef with RockStar and the GTA series is how they abandoned creating content for the single player experience and put all their resources into GTA:O. It makes sense from their point of view because they were doing minimal work to rake in a fortune through Shark Cards. But as a person that just wants to tool around the single player world without having to deal with cheaters, and 12 year old kids it sucks that we never even got DLC for GTA V.
GTA VI will easily be the biggest game launch of all time. This game is likely the most wanted game of all time, next to Half Life 3. I'm so ready for this game in 2025. It's going to be epic!

Not really my kind of thing. I don't mind if you're able to choose a character and have a different experience of the same story. Similar to Claire and Leon in Resident Evil 2. Did not care for the switching in GTA V. I rather pick a character and play it throughout the game.
I live in Florida, in the Tampa Bay area and I've seen most of what is in the trailer. The beach scene at the start is basically St.Pete Beach in the summer. I've seen a convenience store closed due to a gator being in the bathroom too. I was mad I couldn't get a protein shake after my run. They are cheapest there. I've seen the twerking on top of a car. I've seen bike races close down streets and Florida men acting crazy during hurricanes and I saw the Miami Joker in the news. Shout-out BIGXTHEPLUG (fat black guy at the end).
The world building in GTA games is astounding (at least from 3 upwards)! You could literally spend hours just walking around and listening and interacting (sometimes shoving or punching) the NPCs. The detail is insane and that is what they are known for. GTA VI could literally make some people in real life disappear since they will spend every living second living a virtual life in the game world.
@@RatAPewie that was my second fav shot. It definitely wasn’t consistent to me. Some shots looked quite a bit better than others. I guess you can expect that from an unfinished product though.

On the other side of the fence was a lake with alligators in it. I’d literally be chilling in the pool watching alligators swim around metres away from me on the other side of the fence 😂 totally normal for people in Florida but it blew my little Scottish brain.

It kind of aligns with what you said about your parents not allowing you to play GTA when you were younger lol. I can tell they put in effort to raise you to be a good person. Anyways, I've watched a lot of GTA 6 trailer reaction videos. Its easy to tell which people genuinely care about GTA and are excited, which people pretend to care, and then some people act flat out bored.. Which I'm like "how can you not be hyped...". People dont understand and appreciate the technical innovation and the amount of hard work that goes into this stuff, and how unique it is for gaming. The first thing I noticed was the Tom Petty song. Can't wait to hear the soundtrack. GTA Vice City reminded me of being a kid in 1980s Southeast Florida. The very first GTA game came out at the start of my Senior year of high school (1997).
I really hope you get to play GTA IV and V, you’ll love them! They’re both incredible, but also very different. GTA IV is a lot darker in tone and has a much more serious story, but one of - if not the best - story in the entire series. GTA V has a cool balance between serious and comedy, and awesome characters. You’ll have a blast with both games I’m positive.

if you decide to go back and play the older games, GTA Vice City is a good choice, it's the same location from GTA 6, except it's in the 80s, definitely a great time, and GTA 4 is definitely a great pick as well, super cool game with perfect new york vibes

Not really my kind of thing. I don't mind if you're able to choose a character and have a different experience of the same story. Similar to Claire and Leon in Resident Evil 2. Did not care for the switching in GTA V. I rather pick a character and play it throughout the game.

I live in Florida, in the Tampa Bay area and I've seen most of what is in the trailer. The beach scene at the start is basically St.Pete Beach in the summer. I've seen a convenience store closed due to a gator being in the bathroom too. I was mad I couldn't get a protein shake after my run. They are cheapest there. I've seen the twerking on top of a car. I've seen bike races close down streets and Florida men acting crazy during hurricanes and I saw the Miami Joker in the news. Shout-out BIGXTHEPLUG (fat black guy at the end).
Fun fact the GTA V story takes place in San Andreas and GTA 6 takes place in vice city( which is an earlier gta title/location as well)
Nothing weird about not letting your kids play these games. COD is Sesame Street compared to GTA.
The world building in GTA games is astounding (at least from 3 upwards)! You could literally spend hours just walking around and listening and interacting (sometimes shoving or punching) the NPCs. The detail is insane and that is what they are known for. GTA VI could literally make some people in real life disappear since they will spend every living second living a virtual life in the game world.
The lady with the 2 hammers is by far the most realistic shot in that trailer. Hoping that’s what the finished product will look like, or even better.

@@RatAPewie that was my second fav shot. It definitely wasn’t consistent to me. Some shots looked quite a bit better than others. I guess you can expect that from an unfinished product though.
@@Cody-qg3rr they confirmed it was shot in work-in-progress build of the game. The next trailers I’m sure will showcase higher resolution with more assets etc.

I’m from Scotland but I went to Florida when I was a kid, we had a villa with a pool that had a fence around it. On the other side of the fence was a lake with alligators in it. I’d literally be chilling in the pool watching alligators swim around metres away from me on the other side of the fence 😂 totally normal for people in Florida but it blew my little Scottish brain.

Please dont take this the wrong way, but you have a very sweet personality and you seem like a really genuine and caring person. It kind of aligns with what you said about your parents not allowing you to play GTA when you were younger lol. I can tell they put in effort to raise you to be a good person. Anyways, I've watched a lot of GTA 6 trailer reaction videos. Its easy to tell which people genuinely care about GTA and are excited, which people pretend to care, and then some people act flat out bored.. Which I'm like "how can you not be hyped...". People dont understand and appreciate the technical innovation and the amount of hard work that goes into this stuff, and how unique it is for gaming. You had a really good reaction to this with genuine enthusiasm. My mind was so blown watching it for my first time. It took me like 6min to get through the trailer because I kept analyzing every scene.

The very first GTA game came out at the start of my Senior year of high school (1997).
I really hope you get to play GTA IV and V, you’ll love them! They’re both incredible, but also very different. GTA IV is a lot darker in tone and has a much more serious story, but one of - if not the best - story in the entire series. GTA V has a cool balance between serious and comedy, and awesome characters. You’ll have a blast with both games I’m positive.

if you decide to go back and play the older games, GTA Vice City is a good choice, it's the same location from GTA 6, except it's in the 80s, definitely a great time, and GTA 4 is definitely a great pick as well, super cool game with perfect new york vibes
