What a super informative well made video. Thanks for putting this together. I noticed that this process will not work with the neckband style sordins because the rear facing pin does not have enough space to attach the Sara's. Thanks for the info!
Well that sucks. I have the neckband Sordins. Do you know of any other product I can use, or do I need to buy a new pair?
If you will get a roofers/carpet blade for your knife (has a hook blade with a fine point) it is much safer splitting the shrink wrap without cutting the comms wire.
Just ordered my THIRD pair of snap ring pliers hoping this set actually works. When they say you need a quality pair for the job, take them at their word.
Note: a good idea before handling the exposed electronic boars is to touch a Static bar (or any non charged metal) to discharge any ambient static you have built up, and prevent damage to sensitive electrical components. Remember folks, handle all electronics like they were a mother board, and you won't mess it up :P
Great video, buddy! Thanks a lot!
Super nice video!!! really detailing!
What is your set up for securing it on your head? pads, straps, etc?
Great review, thank you so much you did it! What is the name of the tool you have used to detach the pins inside the cups? Never seen it before - if possible share a link where I can buy it.
Great instructional video, well done. I will be following your process in the coming week to attach my headset. I thank you in advance for reducing the learning curve for install.
Why cut off the loops on the wires of the original headband?
so you can reattach the sordins to the headband with the saras.
@@LegrejerThat makes sense, thanks, I was wondering the same thing
Quality video
+Firelance Media When i cut the 3m arc rail adapters to slide into the Saras, do I only cut the very tip? Beacuse everyones head is diffrent...meaning your ear is at diffrent heights then other peoples heads. Or is this something ill have to cut a little off....then try it on then see if it fits if not cut more?
you got it. Always err on the side of caution. cut off the minimal amount of material and then test fit. Adjust as necessary. You can always take off more material...you can't put it back on.
May i ask what kind of tool is that? and what kind of piece is that? i want to remove the metal things but i dont know how to remove it.. plz let me know those things thank you :>
Snap ring pliers
If I use unity mark with the sara instead of the peltor arc do I still need to cut the ends off the mark?
Unity mark and unity sara*
Does this work with liberator 2s?
perfect video
Couldnt you just hqve cut the wire headband, then just slide the comtac adaptor into place?.......
The retention clip instructions really suck. The video makes it sound like it's super easy when in reality it was a fucking pita. It made me want to go to the fing bar and I don't drink.
So that’s were unity got the idea
