Prepping to do my first TGU with the 24kg. I started with a shoe, then 8kg, then 12kg, then 16kg, and doing the 20kg these days for 20 minutes straight. I’m 45 years old and I’m here thanks to you. It’s a place I never thought I would be. Stronger than I have ever been, moving better than I ever have, with less pain in joints than I’ve felt since I was a kid. Thank you.
I am discovering that I struggle with the lunge with the kettlebell in the overhead position. So yesterday, I implemented a breakdown. I started from a standing position, cleaned and pressed the bell, lunged down, brought the bell down to the rack position while my knee was still down on the ground and then completed the rest of the lunge. I then repeated for reps and sets. I figured that was the "eccentric" way to do the overhead lunge since the getting off the ground with bell overhead part is harder for me.
Sooo started to try this at work. The lightest KB here is like 40lbs lol. Even just doing the first movement where laying on back and pressing upwards, the KB pushing against my outer wrist/forearm area hurts like crazy. Is that normal? And just takes adapting to overtime and it wont hurt or what?

Thanks Mark. You are doing a great work. Your teaching is so good.
Always an excellent teacher
Can't wait to get to this training! Great job on the video coach
Currently a couple workouts into level 5 of the TGUMC, and I’m loving it. Thank you Mark. 🤘🏼
Love your work Mark. Appreciate the clarity and nuance of your oral delivery in particular.

What brand and model are your boots?
Belleville tr102
He has videos specifically about those boots. He also uses Feiyue shoes. Search on his channel. Of course, those videos are excellent as well
I can't do the last bit. Stuck in the kneeling position. Even with no weight.
What about TGU with steel clubbell?
Bad for teeth!
The getup that he does with the club is called a Gun Getup, from seated position to shin box to kneeling to standing.
Gun getup is better for clubs
You in East Hollywood Wilshire area?
East la now. Previously Atwater
So when are we talking about club get-ups?
Mark is now the premier KB instructor. I guess Sonnon has disappeared?
Hit myself in the nuts with my wrist on that clean from the lunge position.
