Actually, I have the same router and purchased this routing plate and it does fit. You need to align the right adjustment holes first and it fits perfectly
Easy problems to fix no need to have a new plate made. If anything make a second glide plate, not a custom table plate. Panel bits to large? Enlarge base hole. Then drill through base plate. And while your mounting that 1617, take the time to drill through the plate and expose the height adjustment bolt so you can adjust the height from the top of the table

Remove the sub plate off and it'll work
Ha ha. Great video, solved my problem. In 2022 they’re now including longer screws with the 1617EVS that work well. Cheers!

I’m not sure, I can’t find my thread gauges. Take one of the base screws or take the base to a hardware store and match them up. 👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻
They are m4. Others will say they are SAE and they will end up with some issues over time.
