I mean, it makes sense. They immediately came to Eight’s rescue in Octo Expansion, but she didn’t really lift a finger as soon as the new Three cut down the fur in Alterna
@@mecen8 Feel like it's for plot reasons, they responded to the distress signal Marina sent from the CQ-80 but they always get knocked out so as not to steal the main character's thunder LOL. But the bias is definitely clear :)
I mean, I'm pretty sure Captain 3 x Agent 8 is a community wide ship, that if that one Valentine's post meant anything, even Nintendo is into it.

And that’s the definition of Captain 3’s favouritism (ahem, selective mercy) right there.
The contrast between how Captain orders Agent 4 and Neo 3 and how she is such a softie towards Agent 8 is pretty funny to watch. 😆 Agent 4 and Neo 3’s reactions in the end had me dying. Great work on this dub, Yume! I love Yurami’s content and I’m looking forward to seeing you dub more of their comics!

Reason why 3 cares 8 more than other agent is because she had the most difficult mission to complete
at least 8 had a cheat option, you want to beat a level you got to do it COMPLETELY in splatoon 3, I think that 8 just had Marie hack the system to clear the mission that were *those* types, AND NEW 3 SURVIVED WHAT WAS BASICALLY A NUCULAR EXPLOSION BECAUSE NO WAY JUST AN EEL POWERED THAT BIG A ROCKET WITH PURE ELECTRICITY. 8 may be more trained but new 3 was not even safe outside mission with the fuzz ooze, sure it can be cleared but 8 was never in constant danger, AND * NEVER FEEL DOWN WHAT WAS PROBABLY 100 FEET WITH ONLYFAKE SNOW TO CUSHION WHAT IS A HARD FALL. 8 had to rebuild their suit and is more smart then Comics show like they barely had the full hero suit before it was ruined and they perfectly replicated the damaged parts and the features in it. 8 is more combat skilled but new 3 is more Logic skilled.
I think that cheat option isn't canon at all, just for people who can't beat the phase

Captain 3 does have a soft and sweet side even if the mission doesn’t get completed…..if you happen to be agent 8. If you’re anyone else, good luck because your on your own
I mean, it makes sense even without 3’s soft spot for her. 8 already had to do missions like this to leave the Deepsea Metro, I wouldn’t push someone too hard when they already have to deal with bad memories of something similar.
agent 4 gives off pearl energy
Well 4 and Neo 3, you didn't go through the same stuff as 8 did with the captain on top of saving them from being brainwashed and watching after Cuttlefish so you don't got that closeness that 8 does.
In the Cap’s defense, 8 already had to deal with enough trauma in the Metro, so I imagine she’s probably having flashbacks.

This is how 3 is mostly depicted in the community and it’s funny- Cold and harsh to 4 and Neo 3 but caring and loving to 8 only cuz she has a soft spot for her TwT

Agents 1, 2, 4, and 8: “who hasn’t saved the world?”
With the exception of 8, none of them saved the world. 8 stopped Tartar, Neo 3 stopped Mr. Grizz. Agents 1 and 2 were really only guides, Agents 3 and 4 only stopped Octavio, whom mind you didn’t have as much a power reach as we initially thought, seeing how the Octolings in Splatsville are completely unaffiliated with the Octarian Army and unaffected by the events of the Great Turf War.
@@KnightInAChest I’m not sure how you came to the conclusion that new agent 3 didn’t save the world, but the other agents did as well. Octavio’s plan was to take back the land from the Inklings and seeing that he was going to invade and kill many, this was a “save the world” situation in both games, since at the time he was still considered evil. Mr. Grizz’s plan was literally to cover the world in fuzzy ooze so mammals would once again rule.
