Entertaining build video as usual, good call engarging the control surfaces a bit too. Good choice making it from EPP instead of the regular foamboard! I did 2 from Vector/Superfoam/Amewi Flexi foam board, slightly shrunk and it is a great little plane to haul around 😄 245g? Is EPP that much heavier? Man, I need to take a take on the original sized one too to see how light one can get 😉
Thanks bro ! I like your outlaw 50 , you re the GOAT of indoor flying ! I use laminate to make it crash resistant and less flexible, that explains the final weight How weight did you get with vector board ???
@@sylfpvdiy7921 Good call using the laminating film, that stuff just doesn't want to break either! Those small ones (mentioned in the RC-Groups' thread) weight just a bit over 80g 😉Probably making original sized one from that material too for a better comparison 😃
@@theKeppisI tried to build in vector board( for outdoor planes) , too loud and not as resistant as epp, you build with 3mm board ? 80gr for indoor seems perfect
@@sylfpvdiy7921 what thickness off vector board did you use when you tried it? I used that some 3mm (board varied from 3.0 to 3.8mm) and thought to use 5-6mm thickness for the original size 🤔Also I used UHU-Por instead of hot glue in construction🙂 Might make a difference
