- Part of a recital Cziffra gave in Argentina in the 1970s. The works were by Hummel, Chopin, Schumann (Etudes Symphoniques and Toccata) and Liszt.
Cziffra is on demonic and capricious form in these three pieces by Liszt.
Gnomenreigen was always a Cziffra favourite and his tempo is rapid and frenetic.
The Valse-Impromptu was another favourite and here is performed with a delightfully teasing caprice.
The Transcendental Study 'Appassionata' is played with a fiery passion and yearning intensity that has the audience cheering Cziffra to the rafters.
Cziffra really loved the Valse Impromptu, good amount of videos with his playing the piece, it has a special place in his heart

I am simply overwhelmed with every new discovery we come across of Cziffra's. This is over the top today! What are your thoughts Felix?
@@CziffraTheThird I'm trying to contribute with my impressions, there are a million of them, but I just can't, I'm speechless.
I have finally found it....this is it. The pinnacle Gnomenreigen recording. I thought Cziffra already achieved this in Turin and here he outdoes himself over a decade later!
Thank you Piano! Wow!!

@@christopherczajasager9030 Mister Christopher! I actually did not know that master Rachmaninov did his own reading and take of the immortalized Étude fantasy? I shall search it up, thank you very much!!
Did Cziffra performed only in Argentina? Or maybe also in Chile, Brazil and Uruguay?
