Ok ok, I realized that many people may not have understood 100% of the video's proposal. *Don't get me wrong, I love GTA 5* The idea of this video is just to show points in the script that don't make sense or that weren't explained well.. but that's all GTA 5 is still a great game.
The biggest WTF moment for me is when Michael just casualy walks into the janitor's apartment and is like "I'm going to do your job for a day" and the guy is just like "okay".
for the first one, why would lester send michael on a mission knowing he would get caught? obviously you would assume lester put protective measures so michael wouldnt immediately go away for life
It is absolutely not a plot hole that no one came after Michael after friend request, contrivance perhaps but not a hole, it is entirely plausible that no one knew, it’s not like he shot him, a guy pretending to be an IT guy was let into a building, everyone was focused on their own thing, and seemingly nobody even liked Norris, if you fail the mission by not calling the phone he openly brags about how many people he’ll fire, working for him probably was horrible, the only person that acknowledges Michael outside of maybe the receptionist DOES know it’s him as you pointed out, but genuinely no one else was paying attention, and if you’re a LifeInvader employee, you’re probably not all too upset that such a glaringly terrible boss is gone
Sorry for making multiple comments, hope you don’t consider it spam, but I’d also like to add that the GTA 5 military are not just sent out to deal with terrorism but also lesser crimes in the area, they replace the normal cops almost entirely in the zancudo area, so at the very least they can be sent out for things other than the absolute biggest threats, but as someone else pointed out I believe you are using military equipment
A much bigger plot hole is that a building full of young it guys are incapable of closing a few ads to run an antivirus but Michael can do that for some reason???
GTA 5 is honestly my most hated GTA single player experience. I hated pretty much all the cast but Franklin. Michael was okay, and Trevor was just disturbing as heck... The game's three protagonist system just didn't work very well. And the story in general was trash. Felt like there was no character progression whatsoever throughout the whole game. Franklin had the most potential but he felt like a 3rd wheel in the story in how they treated him. Like GTA SA the protagonist are basically used as puppets/tools by other people throughout the whole game, and unlike GTA SA you don't really see them come out of their shell and turn into the "Boss" you can say. Sure you get a few final showdowns but it's tying up loose ends to save your bacon, not them taking charge and being the 'crime' bosses of the game etc etc etc. They're still small sheep just with money in their pockets. Speaking of Money the game doesn't even really reward you throughout the game. Vast majority of missions pay you nothing, most of the heist money goes to other people. What you do get paid can not afford you any real properties until around the very end of the game. Meanwhile every character is given everything they need including Franklin getting a big freaking house on the hills after the first heist. You feel like you earn nothing, while being given everything. A sense of progression just doesn't exist in GTA V. Ironically GTA Online is a better GTA game than GTA V. lol
@@nickb6988 I find it very fortunate, allows me to play better games than being a Rockstar shill. Been playing their games since they were called DMA design, I've played Lemmings, I've played GTA 1 and 2. I've played Body Harvest on the N64. I even played the PSP GTA Games. Even played State of Emergency another forgotten Rockstar title. Despite that history I'm not giving them any slack on my opinions of their products. GTA V isn't the worst GTA game. But I consider GTA 2, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas and GTA 4 as being all better games. Far more fun, more interesting characters for the ones that have story. Some even play better... functionally as a video game, GTA San Andreas ACTUALLY PLAYS BETTER, from flying Helicopters and Airplanes, to driving cars, and combat, free aim combat is a blast on San Andreas meanwhile GTA V enemies fire laser guided bullets making free aim combat a nightmare. GTA IV I went through the whole game on the PS3 with free aim and auto aim disabled. GTA V oh boy... oh boy did they ruin it. Over all GTA V feels like a huge downgrade from GTA IV, and it doesn't even standup to most of the past GTA Games in general. Only thing that kept it popular was GTA Online. I also find the map being one of the worst, everything north of the city in the south is technically worthless, and wasted space, unlike San Andreas which had major cities on opposite ends of the map so you had reasons to visit those places post story mission completion.
As much as I agree the first one is a plothole, I feel like you're reaching really hard to make this video work. I get it, controversial opinions get a lot of views, and people are intrigued when you have a title that feels like you're "calling out" GTA, and I don't think GTA 5 is perfect, far from it, but I feel like there's a lot more you can focus on, but most of that has already been said, the lame guns, the bad sound fx compared to GTA 4's sound fx, the way cops magically teleport when they're out of sight, the way the euphoria physics have been heavily reduced and the deaths are more scripted than GTA 4, the car physics are way less realistic, driving is too smooth, like an arcade RC car in how easy it is to drive. The way the "Deathwish" ending lets ya interact with Mike or Trevor after but if you choose Michael or Trevor, after that ending they cop-out by having both characters go "I DON'T WANT TO HANG OUT WITH YOU FRANKLIN, I HAVE TO GO NOW MY PLANET NEEDS ME!" *MIKE OR TREVOR WERE KILLED ON THE WAY TO THEIR HOME PLANET* as a cheap way to explain why you can't call them or talk to them anymore. They kind of did the same thing with Kate Mcready or whatever her name was, depending on which ending you choose, she either dies so you can't call her anymore, or you save her life and she tells you I HAVE TO LEAVE NOW MY PLANET NEEDS ME so you can't call her anymore. I could accept that with GTA 4 cause it was their first next-gen game, and limited production schedule, but for GTA 5 it just came across as lazy and more just created an illusion of multiple endings than actually creating 3 distinct endings with 3 distinct outcomes. You know Rockstar is more creative than this which makes all this more frustrating.

The reason why the military is after you during that heist is because the equipment you’re using was stolen from the military
Make sense

Trevor stole a military truck before the Paleto heist for the vests

Tks bro
Gta5 1.0 ps3 and 360 has some of the best glitches

that's true, and the guy who needs help is one "hacker"
It's county based for the military. Blaine County covers Paleto Bay and Fort Zancudo, Los Santos is a different county
Molly died in an accident

Great story but doesn't make any logical sense.
