    I worked in Mexico City for 5 and a half years to get my permenate resident, so it's easier for me to buy property. After my next jump overseas, this is where I am retiring. Love the people of Mexico. People back home in NJ ask me all the time is Mexico dangerous? My response safer than Camden, Chicago, Detroit, etc. Just remember it's not the US and it's not for everyone. Damn good time for this simple mathematician.

    I've got to check this place out. I'm a surfer and fisherman, but don't like being so far from the beach and ocean here in Joshua Tree, CA. But I'm here because it's less expensive than where I was in Orange County near Huntington Beach, and the desert has it's beauty. I want to travel and investigate places outside of the US in warmer climes, especially where I can go surfing everyday in warm water, so I plan to do some touring and staying in different places as long as I'm still single and before I tie myself to a mortgage or sink cash into a piece of real estate.

    Just fly to Tijuana, and at the airport, there is a bridge to cross to the US takes 10 mins there's a $15 fee then from San Diego fly anywhere, so you don't have to deal with the Covid restrictions, also its cheaper to fly that way. We cross every morning as long as your a resident or citizen no issues. travel is restricted to tourists

    I am very interested in Puerto Vallarta. I loved the video of your friend, Dez’s apartment. I like that she lives in nature but not too far from the beach. Do you know the best way to find apartments in those more “ hidden” areas? I believe I will have to visit & check out the different sections to see what appeals to me the most. I do not want a hotel.

    • @LivingOverseasTV
      @LivingOverseasTV  3 года назад

      silverscreen.cc, It is a great idea to check out the neighborhoods in person. I will be making a video about the neighborhoods in the near future. Posting what you are looking for on the Puerto Vallarta Facebook pages is a good start. I usually find the best deals by walking around the neighborhood, looking for rental signs and asking people.
      For long-term, budget rentals and affordable apartments, contact Rudi. His Mexican name is Rodolfo Aguero and his email is uniquepropertiesrep@gmail.com. His phone # is 52.322.378.8061 - he is on Whatsapp. He also has a Facebook page called Beaches Please with a lot of listings on it as well.
      If you are looking for a great budget place while looking for a long-term rental, I recommend Casa Mis Amores Pvr. It is the main place I live while in Puerto Vallarta. It has a great location, centrally located for getting around. The owner, Guillermo knows everything about the town and can really help you out. He even has a few long-term rentals

    Another great video. You mentioned there are no visa requirements if staying for less than 6 months. Have you done any videos about the process if one wants to become a permanent resident? In 2 other videos I watched you introduced your friend Dez (travel blogger), and an older woman (name escapes me), who both live there permanently. Plus, I think you mentioned that you have now relocated there permanently. The process and requirements for how one can do that would be appreciated. I look forward to following your channel.

      Deborah M, That is a great recommendation. Yes, try it out first to see if it is right for you. I suggest a 3 month trial during the winter months. If you like that, try some time in the summer when it's hot and humid to see if you really want to live there full-time. Personally, I love being nomadic. When the beach gets too hot, I head to the mountains and visit friends and family in the States. I have friends that love the hot season in Vallarta so it's best to try things out for yourself and know that it's not permanent and you can change your mind.
