I haven’t read the books yet, but I liked the bit of backstory we got for Kaz. Freddie Carter really brought out a darker, more aggressive side to the character this season. I wish his and Inej’s revenge arc had more time to simmer.
@@tinklostboy I watched the show only because of the crows' books, they're my favorites ever. But they changed so much of the story and of the characters on the show that I just got sad watching it T.T it's a shame, cause they chose so many amazing actors for this

Are people actually watching Shadow and Bones for the Shadow and Bones characters? I only watch the shows for the Crows, I could not care less about any of the Shadow and Bones characters. I get people are watching some of it for Ben Barnes, because we are all basically the same age group that loved him as Prince Caspian. But lets not kid anyone. The only reason this show is actually any good is the Crows?? If you took out all of their storylines, then SAB would have nothing, or am I wrong?? I really hope we get that spin-off that they are talking about, so we can just get 8 episodes of the Crows, being their beautiful selves. Maybe even get Kaz to be a little more sarcastic, like he is in the books. I would love that so much!
I'm actually really confused about there being a Crows spinoff since Kaz started talking about the plot of Six of Crows at the end of season two. But spinoff or not, that definitely gives me hope for lots of Crows next season.
@@slayervid i honestly don't even care if it's not the ice court heist. But just a heist of some sort, in their own show. Where i don't have to sit through Alina and Mal and however 😂😂 Like im good with getting new stories of the Crows, because the characters are what makes the books so special, so getting new stories with them, and the absolute best cast of characters ever, is just fun. 🤗🤗🤗 And i will eat up anything they do with them. The casting is so amazing, like I cannot even describe how well the casting agents did for them! Kudos to those who choose these actors! Like all of them is spot on as i imagined.

Like i read the first one around the time it came out and HATED it 😂 Alina was crying all the time, the Darkling was the villain, and Mal was just there??? So the show version is actually better to me with them, but still not as interesting as the SOC characters 😂 but still better than the books for me, so that is a plus.

I hate to say this because I’ll probably upset everyone who reads it in the process, but I actually take a lot of issue with the speech Inej gives Kaz at the end of Crooked Kingdom/season 2. It‘s basically disability shaming telling him he isn’t worthy of her until he „fixes“ himself. So I love the pairing, I just don’t support that message and unless season 3 makes space for a conversation about why that mentality is problematic, I’m not going to make any Kanej videos, because unfortunately that’s a big moment in their relationship and I just can’t edit around it. Sorry :/
@@slayervid for me I don't think she's disability shaming him she just wants him to try his hardest for her like she tries for him her past was also very traumatic she was a slave so she understands well about physical and emotional pain she's just tired of kaz shutting her out like he always does so while I feel bad for kaz because in his own way he's trying but I also see inej point she just wants him to try removing that armor for her so their relationship can progress she would've been happy if kaz would've just asked her to be patient and told her how bad he's struggling and then said he'd try his best for her because he deeply cares about her but instead he remained silent

So if it's about metaphorical armor, I 100% support her choice. It's just that this comment came immediately after her talking about the gloves and never touching, which is why it rubs me the wrong way. So it's all in if how you look at it, I suppose. And thank you for this respectful disagreement lol The internet can get so heated about fictional people sometimes.

Yes the whole show is good,all characters are good but yes the Crows are great and certainly deserve/earned their own spin off.
