Genya came through hell this season she was used by the royal family and only Nikolaj apologized for the sinnes of his step father. Please tell me that we have a chance that David alive somehow. And i love that despite Genyas betrayal Alina the nest moment she see her again took her side and stands for her Infront of Nikolaj
if david is actually dead i’m gonna be so angry. he is part of the triumvirate with genya and zoya, not alina. he’s so important in king of scars it would be such a shame if they actually killed him off so early. he and genya were my favorite characters in the shadow and bone books, they deserved so much better :(
@@razzlemekazzle we didn't see a body, so hopefully he's alive :((( god, they were so precious together and genya does not deserve this hell she's been put through - the least she could have is david back alive ;-; plus he's also such a sweet soul :((
I mean he does in the books… but given how different the show is there is a chance. Maybe he has something to do with the making of Jurda Purem and used it to save himself. Just a theory tho

@@razzlemekazzle i haven't read the books but i assume a way of David coming was kidnapped by the shadow monster to be brought up to the Darkling so maybe it was his plan B, C, D or else

I’m so impressed with Daisy Head’s performance of Genya in season 2.
I mean Genya was sassy and confident in season 1 and then in season 2 she was a wreck. It was painful to watch her be so destroyed! Amazing performance!!

Once again, it's kinda hilarious that the actor (Ben Barnes) is completely different from the character that he plays. Same deal with Kaz and Freddy Carter. This just shows how good this cast is.

Just want to add that Alina getting the Darkling's power is actually how the second book ends, bc iirc they swap powers during their confrontation at the end of siege and storm. Whilst I am very sceptical of the way they've taken Alina by making her part of the grisha triumverate (it was David originally, along with Genya and Zoya), the fact she can summon shadow now (hopefully both light AND shadow in s3) is an interesting ending to season 2.
