+PeteTop Carton I love it when they have to do impressions. Both Lee and Wossy were hopeless at them, but it just made them more hilarious. Rory was more accurate though. I still remember Rory's impressions of female tennis players Venus Williams and Lindsay Davenport as deep masculine voices.
David Gower had some great lines in this series. "Was some rich German lagging his loft with tennis players? [watch Nick's expression in this pause] It's just a thought, in which case he should have gone for the top of the range model - the Sampras - which has, as you know, a higher tog rating. Or maybe the McGrath? That's been wrapped round a few old boilers, hasn't it?"
GinolasSon I only have one episode of series 2 - with John Gordon Sinclair and Kriss Akabussi, recorded from a repeat in 2000 (under the title "They Think It's All Over AGAIN"). Feel The Sportsman had the agent Eric "Monster Monster" Hall and sumo wrestler Simon Smith (much to Lee Hurst's disgust - "It took you three hours to work out he had a bare arse!" - JGS). I'll have to dig it out when I get the chance. I have at least 30 tapes of episodes of They Think It's All Over, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and It's Only TV... But I Like It somewhere.
