Hope that asrock Tachi doesnt overheat on you. Ive had two of those that both would hit 105c. Until i finally went with a powercolor as thats all microcenter had at the time.
I’ll never regret upgrading to a 7900xtx and the 7950x3d 128gb of ram 4tb of 990 pro ssd 360 cooler runs flawless well over 350 fps in almost anything medium to high settings at 1440. It also runs small recording set up for guitar tracking so it’s needed. Might even go 14900k just cause it’s so new lol
I tend to build my PC's around performance at a specific target resolution & never needing to upgrade anything for 4-5 years that I keep them. That mostly means no need to overkill on the GPU for building a 1080p or 1440p system. Just research & buy the one that hits a solid FPS rate at the targeted resolution goal & high/max viewing settings.
You can't compare the weaker laptop's components with a desktop PC. The sole pro for buying a gaming laptop is if you have to move a lot not stay much in one place.
What do you think would be better for power efficiency (especially in lower demanding tasks)? A: power limited and undervolted higher-end CPU B: just a normal less stronger CPU for example just the 13600 instead a down tuned 13900 (And yes i know, you dont buy a 13900 to tune down. I am just interested in possible power efficiency of highends compared; independantly to the prices)
I’m going from an RTX 3080Ti with a 12600k in a DanA4 to an R5 8600G in a mini-case. I don’t need anywhere near that much power anymore, as I’ve never done video editing, and just don’t care about big, hungry, AAA titles or 4k graphics or any of that. (4k stuff tends to give my blind ass migraines, and I don’t have time for that kind of gaming anymore.)
Could one argue. Using a lower powered CPUs allows you to use a smaller cooling system for it giving your system better airflow for your gpu to run better? Mostly in noticeable differences but could one argue?

a 7800xt
6700 xt 👌12 Gb of Vram look fine
I have a 4070 myself but could push for AMD equivalent or maybe even higher but for 1440p something around the 4070 mark or equivalent should be the sweet spot for that CPU imo
Works amazing
The XT version the non XT is basically the 6650xt with more vram. And the availability is scarce, you'd be lucky to find one.
The "open cpu transplant" line went under everyone's noses
I’ve been rocking the 13700k with a 4080 for almost a year and i must say it’s quite nice. Google trying to tell me a 4080 is almost 15% faster than a 7900xtx but i don’t believe that. i play on 1440p now but its a MASSIVE upgrade over my old 1080ti even on 1080p and that is still crazy good frames if you have a cpu to feed the beast.
Based on my XTX in games and comparing number to others with the 4080, I get equal or up to 10% better FPS. It’s very game dependent of course, but I can definitely say that the 4080 is not 15% faster
The bottleneck on your new pc 💀💀💀
There isnt any bottleneck if you have a brain and play at least on 1440p.
@@viliamrev.1sorry I meant the one with the 12600K and the 3080
@@awesometanker1298 You're wrong. Stop.
7900 xtx it's not downgrade

He downgraded his older PC by installing an older i5 CPU.
i am learning form you and building and upgrading pc's for other people for cheap with that i will be able to build a gaming pc for myself in next 4-5 months if i skip my lunch ...........thank you very much Teacher
Me with i3 6100 and 1050ti: Cool!
12700k with a 7900xtx? Are yo unsure there’s no bottlenecking?
Why would there be
May be will
if monitor is 2k then its fine i think
@@behnamkaramatnia6900 fine in 1080p nd 1440p too
Nah not at all the 12700K is very powerfull, its a great pair honestly.
Also there will always be a bottleneck in a pc. always, that how components communicate.

Good choice on the Taichi, baller move!
Holy shit, If I had that much computational power I'd put it to use cracking RSA keys and doing math.
have checked the bottle neck calculator with ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 2060 is it a good pair it is showing it has bottle neck of 0.02 for gaming on 1080 p screen
I'm currently using it just fine with 2060 super at 1080p.
Just bought the same i5-12600kf with a 4060 to pair with it on a budget, would have done and but I’ve never used them so I wasn’t sure what to expect (keep in mind I’m rocking an i7-9700 with a 2060 currently)
Me, only hearing an amount numbers and letters put together with no correlation conceivable for my mind: Interesting.
Built my first pc around a month ago and holy shit.. it’s an awesome experience and upgrade from my Dell g5000 that had a 2060super. My new pc runs a 4070 super paired with the Ryzen 7600x 😊. It’s been handeling everything on 1440p ultra everything no problem
Hope that asrock Tachi doesnt overheat on you. Ive had two of those that both would hit 105c. Until i finally went with a powercolor as thats all microcenter had at the time.
I have that exact same Asrock 7900xtx and I have zero complaints
Bro had my exact specs and I was like “that seems familiar.”
My dream build has a 7900 XTX, so I'm saving some money at the moment to be able to get all the parts eventually.
Sounds like a beast of a build, but i would never do this. I do not touch AMD cards as Radeon software gives me a headache.
7th and 5th gen 😢 you need to upgrade that CPU and motherboard 🫶🏽 so the Ram & GPU can flow x2 better but still love the build.
I need, it will be a massive giant upgrade from my windows 10 Acer laptop
You can't compare the weaker laptop's components with a desktop PC. The sole pro for buying a gaming laptop is if you have to move a lot not stay much in one place.
I have a RX 7900 XT and I love it! Heard a lot of great things about the XTX!
Man i love this video
Where and when will you be selling your old pc, and do you have a price in mind for it?
I have a I7 12700f with my gtx 1660 super, Its fine
Man give it to me....I would take care of it like a baby 😢
By showing his 7900XTX,bro called us poor in 79 languages💀💀💀
He's a successful RUclipsr, so easy to earn money in this way.
I bought an a750 and it has been awesome. I’m glad I didn’t bother with getting a high priced gpu

@@user-wi3fl6ms2g this guy is on the spectrum. He would probably flip if he had to listen to differing opinions.
I want to get a PC but I dont know what components for it, can you do a vid on what are the best budget parts.
What do you think would be better for power efficiency (especially in lower demanding tasks)?
A: power limited and undervolted higher-end CPU
B: just a normal less stronger CPU
for example just the 13600 instead a down tuned 13900
(And yes i know, you dont buy a 13900 to tune down.
I call that a budget baller
Why would he say: “since it’s a rectangle cpu” aren’t all cpu’s rectangle ??
Well, no. The olds cpu's were square
I wish I had the money and time for these type of things. I really do.
imagine that in other universe a rectangle just called a long square 😂
Just built one with the 12600k and a rx 6800 and I'm loving it
Could one argue. Using a lower powered CPUs allows you to use a smaller cooling system for it giving your system better airflow for your gpu to run better? Mostly in noticeable differences but could one argue?
how I wish one day I could just swap out pc like this, I did with laptops during the pandemic I guess one day
going from a 12gb card to a 24gb card is not a downgrade. Placing an LGA cpu vertically is risky, well placing any PC part vertically is very risky.
Not an amd fan somehow. I’ve built a pc with a 14900K and a 4080 last week. Couldnt be happier
That line method scares me. Maybe I’m just too cautious?
That NZXT motherboard is proof this guy uses windows 11 and prefers the new UI
