You have no idea what ghostwriting is all about or about how an artist can translate many styles. There are many ghostwriters who are underground nerd rappers that you probably would never like who write hits for artists that you bump on the daily.
There is a difference between having a ghost-writer and someone suggesting that something might work better.. If that was the case every rapper that ever lived had a ghost-writer. And Eminem in recent times has actually used lyrics written by his brother, I think it was the song headlights.
Not saying he does but you do realise just because you don't need a ghostwriter doesn't mean you won't collaborate with one seriously why do you people need such simple shit explained to you its like saying why would a singer use back up vocalists or do collaborations with other singers🤦🏽

Wow so this is why Suge did what he did. I thought suge randomly picked vanilla ice but now it makes more sense
Yo art of the dialogue on the whole nother level for this 1
People may be shocked by this but I mean you really think rappers just go in there and come up with hit songs or songs in general by themselves most of your favorite rappers have help even if it's not them completely writing it they bounce ideas off each other and everything like that
A very select few do it for dolo. That’s the problem rn.
He said he worked with all those ppl, he didnt say he wrote for them
Production staff is massive.
Rob Vanwinkle on the Bloodhound track “Boom” was pretty hard. Probably his best flow. That was years after Ice Ice Baby.
You know they always complain about stuff we do then want to copy it 😂 ( Paul Mooney)
Who needs Gladtv when you got The AOD 🔥🔥
It’s been 30 years. Time to forgive or forget. If u did write it, sorry u did not get the credit u deserve but too late to take legal actions.
That song stills makes money so there no let it go
Looks like them royalties are all dried up.

Ghostwriters get royalties? I thought they get a once-off payment.
@@IllDawgable he did more then ghost writing....listen to him say "he worked with....". Yall gotta listen....he produced music too

I met Choc about 12 years ago and kicked multiple times. This is the same story he said then. It’s all true. He also has a nephew that was signed to Aftermath named Slim da Mobster. Wrote a bunch of stuff for Dre. 10 gat commandments is a must listen.
Yo i heard slim da mobsta back in the day... Heads dont even know who that is, nowadays these oldschool cats discussed in random comment sections.... It's crazy i could never picture this back in time. Shout to real og rap legends tho: S.C.C Murdersquad n Young Murder Squad... Spice 1 E-40 etc...
Didn’t know slim was related to hin..Slim is a talented gangster
You act like 12 years is a long time. He’s been saying this BS for longer than that. Doesn’t make it true
Why would Vanilla Ice lie on National TV about Suge taking him to a balcony? It doesn’t make him look good in any way? But I know Mob James also said that wasn’t true too.
okay was Vanilla Ice forced to say someone wrote it or did this guy actually write so many stories have been changed dealing with this
Clearly Vanilla was forced and this is all bullshit. They all admit SK stole millions from VI and funded Death Row and all the gangster rap which has been used as a cultural marxist tool to wreak havoc on civilized cultures around the world. At least they were nice enough to have VI open for their "gangsta" artists while on tour. lol
As a kid we use to ride motorcycles with Van Winkle (vanilla ice)
I mean zero disrespect but I hear NO similarities between the legend that is the D. O. C. and ice ice baby or anything that came from Vanilla Ice.. Regardless of who wrote it 🙁
Both from Dallas both popped around the same time
One went to the west coast .. the other did the chitlin circuit

That’s the point of a ghostwriter. They’re supposed to write raps in the style of their performer, not their own or the next performer.
You have no idea what ghostwriting is all about or about how an artist can translate many styles. There are many ghostwriters who are underground nerd rappers that you probably would never like who write hits for artists that you bump on the daily.
Biggie smalls wrote Kim first bars that made her famous; all those sexually explicit bars came from Biggie.
This is a good one!
I would have kept that DOC info to myself 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
yeah that was biting
Correct
Yeah definitely.

It's not true
My big bro @mrchoc finally got on here. I love you watching the whole thing right now.
Wait so if he working with Em, what is he doing?..I know Eminem doesn't need a ghostwriter
There is a difference between having a ghost-writer and someone suggesting that something might work better..
If that was the case every rapper that ever lived had a ghost-writer.
And Eminem in recent times has actually used lyrics written by his brother, I think it was the song headlights.
He's a producer

Oh k !! Shout out to Proof
Not saying he does but you do realise just because you don't need a ghostwriter doesn't mean you won't collaborate with one seriously why do you people need such simple shit explained to you its like saying why would a singer use back up vocalists or do collaborations with other singers🤦🏽

Lol. Your right. Now that was funny
Next thing you know diddy come out saying he ghostwrote fack by eminem.
Chocolate is not lying when he says there are similarities between Vanilla Ice - To the Extreme, and DOC - No One Can Do It Better.
1. DOC - Lend Me An Ear - "Smooth like a Prism" 2. Vanilla Ice - Play That Funky Music - "Smooth like Strawberry Ice Cream"
1. DOC - Lend Me An Ear - "Spin a Chump Like a Gyro" 2. Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby - "Wax a Chump Like a Candle"
DOC has a track on Lend Me An Ear named Mind Blowin', and Vanilla Ice's second album is named Mind Blowin'.
I believe everything this man said.
But I disagree bout being upbeat on ice ice baby he was on point on the hook and the beat, I don’t know how many takes but it sounds good the record is not bad

@DavezMentaltees That's your prerogative, but I amsure there is footage out there somewhere. The producers were so frustrated. I honestly thought he was high or something.

Word to your mother😂..That line to me is enough to believe Vanilla Ice didn't write that..
1. I am listening to "Ice Ice Baby" right now, and Vanilla Ice is NOT off-beat.
2. If this guy is so good at songwriting, how come we haven't heard about him before?
Not saying that this man didn't contribute anything on the song, but I doubt that Vanilla Ice didn't write any of it.
Because you rarely ever hear about the actual songwriters because the studios and labels want people to think the artists that are performing the songs are the ones who wrote them. It's pretty obvious Ice had two different writers on his albums when you compare the first album to the second one. That dude didn't write anything.
@@RobinJustice333 Songwriters are always credited, like L.A. Reid, unless they are ghostwriters. Just because two albums sound different don't mean that they weren't written by the same person.
