Oh finally! Been looking for anyone to make a micro sd Express video! Yeah the speeds are expected to be on older hardware like the current switch. It only supports UHS-I speeds. On the sandisk website, it states "performs at UHS-I speeds with microSD™ UHS-I and UHS-II devices." Can't wait to see the speed comparison from Switch 2 vs OG Switch. Micro Express sd cards are huge game changer. Compare the price and speed from the fastest v90 SD cards to Express and the winner is Express everytime.
Thanks for the explanation, honestly when i bought the express, my mind for the 4 days I waited did not even put the sd card READER, into consideration lol, but yeah, even though it was 60$ for the card, it be good for the switch 2. I wonder how long it'll take for us to get higher storage cards though for express, but 256GB is a pretty ok start
The switch 2 will be using these, according to recent leaks. If you run it on the original switch, it will run in a reduced UHS-I speed mode because the original switch doesn't have the new express adapter. It doesn't surprise me its slower given its running in a reverse compatibility mode.
