- Seven Tubs Recreation Area is a public recreation area located in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The tubs are Ice-Age formed potholes formed by the melting flowing glacial water. The site is part of a 537-acre recreation area in the Pennsylvania mountains about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of downtown Wilkes-Barre. Wheelbarrow Run is a stream that runs through the tubs and eventually meets up with the larger Laurel Run.
Seven Tubs was closed since April 2023 for renovation and is now reopened! When construction is completed, Seven Tubs will be the northern terminus of the D&L Trail-a 165-mile multi-use rail trail.

Wonder if the potholes are deep enough to jump in. Another nice swimming area about 2 hours from this location called rock run. Should check that out.
Some of the pot holes did look pretty deep! I’ve watched a few videos on people actually sliding into them lol. Thank you so much I’ll definitely look into Rock Run!!! ❤️❤️😁
