yes! for my university, once you get accepted there are facebook and instagram pages where you can meet others and you "request" each other when you sign up for housing. 9 times out of 10 you get the roommate you requested!
Small Frie i believe you have to have your own, but if you know people going to the same school you can always request to live with them! Also, if you don’t request one, they give a questionnaire to everyone to help them find you a roommate that is similar to you. Every school is different though!!
