I'm happy with any of those vault figures, apart from the tank driver, strange pick that one. The X-wing, I'd have preferred poes xwing but il still grab it.

The e.r.g is a great call for the repack wave I.m.o , not a fan of the gaming figs but the biker scout looks superb so I'll be getting him 👍 for the fan vote I'll be voting o.t for the weequay as I dont have him , I've a feeling tho that ahsoka will run away with the win , these fan votes are notoriously sketchy . Thank you. Yeah, the last Black Series vote was a bit dodgy, I had Wedge Snowspeeder pilot down to win easily, yet Dagobah Luke was crowned king! Again, common sense would be that they just release all of them. Weequay is a nice figure and will sell well if he wins but even if Ahsoka does win, you bet your ass I'll be pre-ordering several of her! 😂
I haven't seen a confirmed price for it yet but I'm expecting aound the £100 mark. It is expensive for a repaint but we're also looking at the effect of too many people waiting for clearence on big items. Hasbro have released fewer big items and have to charge more to cover the actual cost of the item, before retail ends up clearencing them out.
It's getting more difficult to complete the MOC/loose collection. I can't justify two x-wings unless I want to live in the shed away from the wife. Also gaming greats have gone up for pre-order in Australia and retailing at $35 - it's all getting very pricey. In answer to the question, Merrick figure best reveal and re-release has to be Weequay doesn't it?
Merrick was definately the best reveal but you're right, it is frustrating having to buy two vehicles to get the figure loose and carded. Curious tyo hear why you want Weequay repacked?
@@ToysOfTheJedi Only one I own is tank driver so have to pick an original card back - that's why I'm excited about the Ackbar repack wave. Also if weequay wins may show Hasbro we love our obscure aliens.
@@stendhal35 If Weequay wins, I hope thats how they take it and he's arguably the best figure in the bunch. Personally I'm hoping for a fairly even spread of votes, that really should send a message that these were all great and obvious choices fo repacking and we end up getting them all.
I agree with all your comments on the vault figures and really hope we get the Republic Trooper 🤞 Although they got the wrong Hovertank figure, I have noticed that even the driver is going up in lrice at a bit of a rate! Loving the Gamin Greats figures, they all look cool! It's the Merrick situation that is the suckerpunch for me. I'm only a completionist for Rogue One and Mando cardbacks, I don't want the X-Wing... playset situations aside, I now need to buy a vehicle just to get a cardback. I do think Hasbro need to be careful, they could push people out of collecting by doing this more and more. (I backed the Crest, yes, but at least all the cardbacks that come with that are released on the mainline) Luke's X-Wing was over £100 without a figure 👀 I don't want to leave this on a negative though 🤣 great reveals and awesome to see you back Chris! 😁🙌
Don't worry Christian, I feel your frustration. I know Tim likes that Merrick is coming carded, but like you say, for any collectors that only get the carded figures, or those that get one to open and one carded, he becomes a very expensive figure. It sets a dangerous precedent. I'm hoping Hasbro go the route of £100 for the X-Wing as it's a repaint (I know Luke's was too but they've at least had another use out of the mould now). Fingers crossed
@@ToysOfTheJedi I hope so mate, as a collector these pack in figures have been a resentment personally (but I understand the business model) I just wish they didn't decide to push it even further with a vehicle that is undeniably going to be twice the price of the most expensive playset. We shall see mate! 🙌
@@SmugglersCanyon I totally agree and the playsets are modular, so it's more justifyable to buy two to expand the playset and still keep one of the figures carded.
