Hearing that Len say that he was able to dance again made me really thoughtful of him.. but to see him dance with Nastia.. I was so happy he could dance again..
What I love so much about Derek and Nastia is that he doesn't see her as Nastia Liukin Olympic gold medalist, but as Anastasia the girl behind the gymnast we've all known for years now....I remember when he posted about being able to dance with her again and that it felt so good to have her back in his arms. I hate how they were treated buy the producers, which is why I hope they get a chance to re-do this season and come back for an all-star season together

I imagine Nastia could really relate to Len in not being able to do something you love anymore due to injury and age. One of the few dances that made me cry. Beautiful story, song and dance.👏🏼
I cry every time I watch this! So damn incredible, to heck with what people say Derek and Nastia had beautiful chemistry and len dancing with them was incredible! I hate how the producers portrayed Nastia she was robbed of the win and even to go to the finals just like Shawn should’ve won.
Same! This was the first dance with Derek that made me see her as not just "Nastia the gymnast", but "Nastia the dancer." Shame that she was eliminated after this but at least she left on an incredibly high note.
I know the artistry is always hard to master, but for a gymnast, the physical aspects of dancing shouldn't be too difficult considering how grueling and demanding gymnastics is. I still remember the season Shawn Johnson was on DWTS, and there was no competition for her at all; she was cruising through everything.
ZhangtheGreat Nastia has been retired for many years where Shawn was just finishing training. Nastia probably had had half the training time, flying coast to coast and going to college full time. Just imagine how she would have done on the show if that wasn’t the case. Btw still mad Shawn didn’t win All Stars

For me the best Viennese Waltz in DWTS, I cried with this performance.

They also got a really raw deal when Derek ended up injuring himself and not being able to partner with Nastia for a few weeks
