The result - The utter domination of a world class field. An absolute masterclass of controlled power, a surgeon 's precision and, when combined with an average of 27 putts per round, means birdies, Yes, a lot of them!!! All delivered with supreme skill, self control and wonderful course management from the 1st tee to the 72nd green by an athlete in supurb mental and physical condition - a professional's, professional. Talk about dialled in. I just got here from her Bronze Medal at Tokyo. Generally I would follow Gold but for some reason everyone told me to watch Lydia. So I did and what an impressive highlight reel. Obviously the last 2-3 years weren't great but apart from that she's been superb.
Lydia Ko is absolutely a wonderful golfer and is great for women's golf. She is a role model for my two granddaughters as I teach them how to play golf
I remember her as youngest record breaking in many areas. Now she is back and in cruise control after the draught caused, I think, by former swing change with David Leadbetter. That was an odd swing.
She was winning when she was with David. When she left is when her winning streak stopped. Glad to see her winning again and what she is doing is working
