Seeing the R44, from what I heard the R44 had its blue strip removed after the overhaul in the early 90’s cause it was rusting. (However the bonnets remained with the blue strip for a while). Looks like the white strip is rusting as well. I wonder if the Mta is going to remove it

That's a coincidence I was thinking in all of the years The R 44 & R 46 cars Through out their careers never were assigned to The B Train! 😱🤔 Great video shots! 👋👋👋👋

I guess they never scrapped that set. Regardless it will unfortunately never run again because of the structural issues. Thankfully one is preserved and the rest still running on the SIR.
