This last Saturday Bis had a bit of time to join us for some matches in War Thunder! He doesn't normally play ground forces but I thought Russian 4.0ish was a good place for a casual ground force player to have some fun and I also got to bring out the KV-2 again. The KV-2 still lives up to its name even after all the changes that have happened in this game. It may have lost a slight step, but it still dishes out pain.

First off I would like to apologize for being a bit slow on the uploads the past couple of weeks. I have been a bit under the weather and dealing with some injuries. Everything is slowly getting back to normal and I hope get back to uploading more videos for you guys this week! Great entertainment ensues everytime Bo rides in the kv-2. Last time, a sherman detonated half his ammo, yet he miraculously survived. This time, Bis made a rare appearance in ground battles, and a respectable display of teamwork was showcased. Also, Stick didnt freak out that much 😅

The Red Dragon returns!!!! This was so much fun!! I can't remember the last time Bismark was in a ground battle. I gotta admit his panicked nein nein neins as he was being bombed had me chuckling. I hope Stick gave Theo some head pats.
Theo was clearly barking at the ghost FedEx guy that comes around this time of year, trying to complete that last gift delivery he never made.

About the question on the radios in T-34s, in the early war, only company commanders' tanks had a radio in it due to insuffiscient production. They would communicate their orders to their company through flags. It wasn't unusual in those times. By example, the French had the exact same problem with their tanks in 1940 and only the B1 bis heavy tanks were all equiped with radios. The only country that had their tanks fully equiped with radios in 1939 was Germany as far as I know. By 1943, most T-34s were equiped with radios and by 1944, radios were nearly universal in soviet tanks.
Radio technology capable to broadcast voice messages and not just telegraph signals was a relatively new technology. The first broadcasting of radio for entertainment happened in 1919 in the Netherlands by example.

If the soviets had a hard time making springs, how did they make engines? Like the cam shaft system needs springs to open and close the intake and exhaust of the engine itself
@bomb00000 Excellent question. Look up desmodromic valves. No idea if that's what they used, but that's how you do it without springs.
