The Soviet KV-2 is a fan-favorite tank in the War Thunder community. It is a very funny vehicle to use, but the reload rate leaves a lot to be desired. The ZIS-6 variant fixes that problem. Kinda.

Churchhill is like the only tank at 4.0-4.7 to be able to tank a russian shell, nothing else can really tank a kv-85 shell or t34-57 shell
It has only 143mm of effective protection of that 152mm, you can even see this in the damage analysts and no it's not a bug (I tried to report it because I thought it was a bug)

Can we all appreciate as a species the moment the Zis-6 cannon caused minimal damage to a tank that has less amour collectively than the gun has penetration, pure War Thunder design absolutely priceless in its quality.

It is deceptively decent, fast (with a decent reverse speed), an actual turret, and a "stabilizer" at very low speed.

Love the SU-100p the other day I was sniping and got a 1400m shot with no rangefinding, i was in shock, not as shocked as when I pinged an ELC bis in the brain from 1200m I just made goblin noises to my bro I was playing with

It would be neat to see you do a video on the E-series of blueprints during WW2. Kind of like a more historical video, as I've seen a lot of discussion around them. Some people to think that if they had been implemented earlier it could of saved Germany (even though it was clearly too little too late), but nonetheless I think it would be a cool video discussing the designs and how effective or game changing they might have been.

It's always funny to hear Spookston say 'ow' like he's been mildly inconvenienced rather than hit by a tank shell that turned at least one of his crewmates into paste.
This thing reminds me of the T-34-100...it typically will one shot anything...but will sometimes ricochet for no reason. I love this tank so much :)
Also it went on sale about a month or so ago. Thats when i picked it up
11:53 in the same anime (anime name GATE ) the adult dragon lost an arm to basically an rpg, but later they threw everything to kill the newborns from 20mm to 155mm to atgms. Talk about overkill!

I remember playing KV-2 with this gun in World of Tanks before there even was War Thunder and it was an absolute beast, but I've never played it in War Thunder.
That thing was a legend in early WoT, just in line with the KV-5 and Type-59...
This is hands-down one of my favourite tanks in the game. The cannon is incredible, and the firerrate is surprisingly fast, for the power of the cannon.
would be great to see the m36b1, its got a nice 90mm gun with tons of explosive filler.

Great vid as always, Spookston. Keep up the great work! Btw, I want to clear some historical facts about ZiS-6 gun on KV-2. Initially, 107-mm gun was intended to be put on a futher KV-based heavies, like KV-3, KV-4 and KV-5 protoypes, but after it was developed Soviets just didn't have apropriate base for fire testing of the gun because it was too big for existing tanks at that point in time. So they just decided to mount it on the KV-2 chassis because it ws the only tank that was able to house this gun for the testing)

He Spookston! I've been grinding France recently, and found their 8.7 lineup extremely enjoyable, using the AMX-30B2 BRENUS, regular B2, the DCA, and AMX 10 RC. It's really fun, and even though im a terrible player, i dropped 3 nukes yesterday

Ah spooks - it's not the KV-85 that got this thing taken from the store. It's the KV-122, which has a couple seconds extra reload... for being better in every way. Faster, better armored, lower profile, gun that is better in everything but that slight reload difference...

Theory as to why Spookston gets bombed a lot, they watch this channel, and thus know about the running gag and want to perform it.
@Spookston talking about a KV-85 with a ~100mm gun, there was one KV-85 modified with a 10mm S-34 (I believe) in 1943 or 1944 in a matter similar to the KV-122. Would have preferred that over the IS-100 also, but the Snail decided otherwise...
